Greet you with a warm hello, let you know the in's and out's of the home then set you free.
If you are looking for more personalized attention and would like advice where to go what to do, we will provide that too.
Set back behind one of Utah's most iconic buildings, the Utah state capitol. You are at the center of everything you need. 1/2 block walk to the east and down the hill you will find memory grove. A portion of the park is an off collar dog park, the other half is full of historical sites and memorials.
If you are visiting on the weekend and would like to attend any particular church services, please let us know to which ones so we can locate them and the appropriate time for attending.
One of my favorite pass times is to take a walk on the immaculately manicured paths around the capitol or relaxing inside.

FREE public transit!
From our home to anywhere down town your travel is free see picture for free fare zone. Limited Saturday and Sunday Service also available.
Across the street on the top of the hill is a bus stop that can take you anywhere you want to go. Immediately down the hill is our light rail system known as TRAX that takes you to and from the airport, as far east as sugar house, as far south as Draper and Harriman, and as far west as west valley. Seriously easy to get relatively anywhere you need. If you plan your route ahead of time you can even take public transportation to many of our skii resorts.
However... you may not need any of it as all of downtown Salt Lake is within walking distance.

A really great apartment in a nice area of Salt Lake with a stunning view of the State Capitol and mountains; an easily walkable distance to downtown (or a very cheap uber ride). The apartment is huge and easily accommodates 2/4 in separate rooms. Others would have space too. Would recommend staying here and would do again if I came through salt lake.
Skyler was a great host and the house was perfect. We were in town to visit our kids who are attending the University of Utah. The house was clean and comfortable. The big living room was perfect for having the kids over for take-out food and board games. The house is close to downtown and convenient to shops and restaurants.
Would recommend Skylers place.
Skyler's place was newly remodeled and made you feel at home and comfortable immediately. With a beautiful view of the mountains and the capitol building, he lives in a charming neighborhood that will be very difficult to book come busy seasons, so book early.
Great location! Right next to the state capitol and pretty close to downtown too.
Great location and great host. Everything is as described.
Our stay here was perfect. Skyler was more than helpful and understanding with my scatterbrains. The area was much larger than expected. It was clean and well stocked with what we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. I recommend this experience to anyone. Thank you, Skyler!
First of all, Salt Lake City was beautiful! And I suggest everyone make a trip! Secondly, we were extremely comfortable in Skylar's place. We drove to Utah from Minneapolis, and broke down 300 miles away from SLC. And when I contacted Skylar that we would be late (eventually a day late) he was willing to offer suggestions as to what could have gone wrong with the car, and was WILLING TO COME GET US 300 miles away from home. Talk about hospitality! The location of the house is great, and the neighborhood was super safe and quiet. And in such a beautiful area!
The house came fully equipped with everything we needed, plenty of towels and sheets, even cookware. The faucet in the shower is a bit touchy, so be prepared for that. And the walls within the house are quite thin, not that it was a big concern for us, but we felt maybe we would be too loud for their family upstairs. We were in town working at a convention that went until 11 pm each night, then we would go have dinner, catch up, and wind up home later. And I was just too worried we were too loud for the little ones sleeping up stairs. All in all a great place, with great hosts who were super helpful.

My first experience using Airbnb was on a trip to iceland. I had such a good experience I decided to host myself. I love meeting new people and hearing their life stories. We invite you to bring a decoration or something memorable that we can hang on a wall, display or simply something to remember you by we'd love to have it.
