Your own private retreat- stunning modern cabin on 16 secluded acres in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge — just 45 minutes from Portland.
Soaring wall of windows and views of cedar trees and seasonal creek. After a day exploring the Gorge, unwind in the oversized soaking tub with forest views. The daylight lower level includes two bunk rooms and a full bath. Enjoy mornings on the porch and evenings around the fire.
Wood-fired hot tub available upon request for an additional $75 fee.

The space
The cabin is set on 16 secluded forested acres and is surrounded on all sides by Forest Service land, creating an incredibly peaceful and private setting.
Because of the remote location and complete privacy, the cabin does not have window coverings. Guests who are sensitive to early morning light may want to bring an eye mask.
The primary bedroom is located on the second-floor loft and features a queen-sized bed overlooking the main living space below. The attached primary bath includes a large soaking tub with forest views, though there is no shower in the upstairs bath.
On the daylight lower level, there are two bunk rooms, each with two built-in twin bunk beds.
The lower-level bathroom includes a full tub and shower.
An outdoor shower located just outside the lower-level bedrooms is available during the spring, summer, and fall months.
The cabin is heated with electric baseboard heaters throughout, and there is also a fireplace insert capable of heating up to 2,000 square feet. Firewood is provided onsite for guest use.
The yurt shown in some of the photos is never rented. Guests always have exclusive use of the entire property during their stay.

Guest access
The Columbia River Gorge is famous for its incredible hiking, waterfalls, and natural beauty — and the cabin is perfectly located to enjoy it all. From the property, you can drive to countless nearby trailheads, or simply walk out the front door and hike a little over an hour to beautiful Duncan Creek Falls.
The cabin is located about 15 miles from both Stevenson, WA to the east and Washougal, WA to the west. Both towns offer charming local restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, and unique shopping opportunities.
For golf lovers, the 9-hole Beacon Rock Golf Course is just a few miles west of the cabin. Anglers will also find endless opportunities nearby, from rivers and streams to world-class fishing throughout the Gorge.

Firewood is provided for your stay. We kindly ask guests to help restock the indoor wood supply for the next visitors if possible. Please also use only the amount of kindling needed to get your fire started.
