A charming three-bedroom cottage with private woodland and river between Llanfair Caerenion village and Welshpool. Located in the lower Banwy valley, there's plenty of outdoor space for relaxing and exploring. Access to private woods and river and hiking further afield. The southern edge of Snowdonia National Park is a 25 minute drive away. This is a stunning spot for nature lovers with otters, herons and kingfishers to spot if you're lucky.

A dreamy delightful return to the Welsh past. A narrow gauge railway runs just behind the property and you can flag them down to pick you up for a ride into town. Lovely cottage for restful sleep when you're done enjoying your day in the countryside.

The kids loved the river and 'beach' you can get to from the garden. A very peaceful place to spend a few family days and a great location for visiting loads of stunning and interesting places.

Quirky and peaceful. Ideal for bird watching, painting, just chilling, but also not so far (in the car) from good restaurants and scenic views. Loved every minute!

A warm welcome, lovely touches throughout the cottage and a quaint and quirky place to stay. We loved it and found it very child friendly.

This is the place for letting the imagination roam. Enter into a world of 'Wind in the Willows', with the River Banwy running right through the garden and the Llanfair to Welshpool steam engine passing right next to the river toot tooting on it's way. We swam in the river everyda…

A lovely, higgledy piggledy little cottage tucked away in the Welsh Countryside. The hosts were very welcoming and took the time to add personal touches, such as fresh flowers in every room and milk in the fridge for breakfast. Not the most modern place in terms of amenities and…
