Sai Kung is located in the New Territories part of Hong Kong. It's a great mix of Chinese and International residents offering a great variety of activities.
Close access to town and small islands with beautiful beaches. Hiking options in the country park are always a favorite!
5min walk to the taxi stand in town. Mini bus options to take you to MTR in Hang Hau, and Mong Kok
Great, modern apartment away from the hustle and bustle of central. Easy to get to - Kennedy Town is just a short bus / taxi ride away from Central and offers a really good location from which to explore the Western side of the city. The MTR is being extended to this part of town soon and property prices here are already rocketing - this part of town is really 'up and coming'...
Compared to many in Hong Kong, this apartment is HUGE and is well equipped and clean. The building feels safe and secure, and is just a short walk from plenty of interesting shops, bars and cafe's.
The apartment is small as advertised. We enjoyed the balcony with the seaview. It is a great extension to the apartment. I am from Hong Kong and quickly found out the different transportation options to Central and other areas, e.g. Stanley. There are ëxpress buses" that costs less than HK$5 to go to Central in less than 15 min. Normal bus takes 30-45 min. It is a very local area... great if you want to experience the local food/wet market, explore the local mom-pop shops and restaurants (very local casual restaurants). Yet, in the neighborhood you can find pubs, Japanese sushi, yakitori, etc. The building is very new, very friendly security personnel. Oh, check out the Li Po Chun Path area - you feel like you are in Ping Chau! We enjoy it and highly recommend it - very different from Central and Soho. My family said this is the "So-Ho" in Western district. The hosts are very friendly and nice.
