Wonderful experience at Burt's rental property. Unique and eclectic home, with stunning views of the surrounding scenery. I honestly could not recommend an AirBnb property more - and I've used the service for rentals in every corner of the globe. I will indeed be back to rent this in the future!!
This is the most interesting, beautiful house & property. Big awesome kitchen, wonderful sunny solarium, breathtaking view, spiral staircase, filled with art & antique furniture, lots of deck space, hot tub, wi-fi. Spacious, cozy, & private. Glad we got to bring our dogs. Manager was helpful & communicative. Highly recommended. I want to live here!
A fantastic home and wonderful view, so many great places to relax and just chill. Peaceful, scenic, a very special place.
This home exceeded our expectations - more than enough space for 4 adults, a baby and a dog. We all woke up so happy and relaxed the first morning. The listing's photos do not fully capture the view, which is just spectacular from several rooms in the house and the large deck. This is one of the most unique and special homes I've ever stepped foot in; the layout, furnishings and art were all wonderful. We totally fell in love with Guerneville - hiking in the armstrong redwoods, driving 20 minutes one way for wine tastings one day, and 20 minutes the other way to beaches the next, with some great restaurants and coffees shops (and a lot of great people) in-between. Burt was also very helpful and responsive; when it was unusually hot one day, he sent us a note with instructions to open certain windows which was thoughtful and appreciated. Thanks for sharing this wonderful home.
Our family of four rented the house over Thanksgiving 2013. Burt has a wonderful house with an even better view. We loved waking up and having coffee on the deck overlooking the russian river and valley below. The little town has some great spots for breakfast and dinner too. Only down side was the amount of clutter in the house. We would have appreciated having somewhere to put our clothing and personal items away given that were stayed for an entire week.
Our November 50th birthday girlfriend's celebration at Burt's lovely home was fabulous! The five of us thoroughly loved the house. We were very comfortable, cozy and delighted to spend our three days enjoying his beautiful home, art and worldly antiques.
David was very helpful and accommodating. We would love to come back again and again. Thank you for the lasting memories!

My favourite things about Burt's place is the beautiful view, comfortable bed and a great deck. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook some meals at home and a comfortable lounge to relax. Thank you Burt for letting us stay at your place.
Myself and two friends rented this incredible house for a long weekend. The amazing views were unexpected. The weather was cool enough that the fog rolled into the valley and was hypnotizing from the hot tub.
One evening I returned to the house ahead of my buddies. I was relaxing in the hot tub (again) and looking out over the horizon when a beautiful silver/red fox happened on the lower deck intending to come up the stairs toward the hot tub. I said, " Hi buddy. There's nothing up here for you." He just turned and went on about his way.
The house itself has character and warmth everywhere you look. I can't imagine the stories that lie behind each knick-knack and decoration. It's very rich and immediately comfortable.
I've had drinks with my buddies a few times since. We seem to end up talking about the house more than any other part of that very fun weekend.
Would we stay here again? In a heartbeat!
Burt's place is awesome. We would definitely stay here again next time we're in the area.
Burt's cabin is absolutely beautiful, and is extremely well-kept and stocked with blankets, sheets, and towels. I and my guests had a magnificent extended weekend, we cooked many a meal in the beautiful kitchen and slept better than at home in the wonderfully comfortable beds. Looking out into the woods over the river with a full moon overhead from the hot tub was amazing. Highly recommended.
