About This Listing
A cosy cottage, privately surrounded by native trees, with 4 bedrooms the house can cater for 3 couples OR for two families. One room has a king size bed (can be split into 2 singles), 2 rooms have queen size beds and the 4th room has 2 singles in a bunk. There are 2 bathrooms and 2 separate toilets. The cottage is very well insulated and double glazed, with plenty of wood for the great wood fired burner. A covered patio has striking views of the mountains and Treble Cone ski fields in the distance.
Lake Wanaka is a 3 minute walk and then another 10 minutes stroll will take you into Wanaka centre. We are central to numerous activities, including sailing, hiking, biking, golf and many more. Wanaka is also the gateway to Mount Aspiring National Park and short drive to the vineyards of Central Otago.
The kitchen is fully equipped, has a great gas stove and a wide range of cooking utensils and equipment, tableware and ample crockery and cutlery.
The living area features a day bed, ample sofas, large dining table (seats 8). The bedrooms have oil cylinder heaters (just in case you need extra warmth) even though the double glazing provides great insulation.
Amenities include a flat screen TV with SKY as well as WiFi high speed internet access.
