Interaction with Guests
I only see guests when meeting them for keys.
Centrally located in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Portland. Downtown is just a short walk away. Or stay close-by and enjoy the chill neighborhood vibe and restaurants that Portland has become so famous for. Distillery Row and many brew-pubs are all within walking distance! There are only a few other places to stay in this zip-code which makes this unit a real gem!
Downtown is so close you can walk there in 20-25 minutes. Take a walk along the river-front, check out the lovely rose gardens in Ladd's Addition, or head just two blocks up to Colonel Summers Park and you might be treated to the sounds of Modest Mouse rehearsing nearby. Like most of Portland, the neighborhood has a reputation for being very safe... you never need to worry about walking places alone or at night or anything like that.
You can take the #15 bus that stops just across the street. If you bring a car, there is also plenty of on-street non-metered parking. Car2Go member?.. we have Car2Go's here! Cabs can be called and on average arrive within ten minutes. If you bring a bike, there is a bike storage room in the building.
Other Things to Note
If there is anything I can do to make your stay more comfortable, please don't hesitate to ask. While I am out of your hair after you check in, I am only a phone call or text away should anything arise.. happy to help!
As you can probably tell when you first arrive, I like to keep the place clean and tidy. I kindly ask that you do everything you can to keep it that way during your stay. There is a vacuum cleaner, broom, mop, and other cleaning supplies. Even any mishaps should occur, please attend to them right away.
I stayed here with my wife for five days and really enjoyed and felt Portland.
It has Enough space and facilities to stay with two persons and nice view of yard from window.
It is located in the calm location but there are parks, nice coffee shops and restaurants around there.
We could also walk to downtown, Hawthorne Blvd and Burnside Street which has another interesting restaurant shops.
We stayed downtown hotel later, but we missed here.
Trystan was a great host and more than happy to answer any enquiries or help if anything unexpected happens (as was the case with me).
The apartment was as advertised and very comfortable. Situated close to downtown Portland via a short bus ride, the apartment was perfect for exploring the city.
I would highly recommend Trystan and would happily stay in his apartment again.
This was my first AirBnB experience. Everything went smoothly. Trystan was always available to answer questions. The apartment was well-maintained and conveniently located to downtown, about a twenty-five minute walk. I would not hesitate staying here again.
We had a great stay at Trystan's place. We arrived in Portland and fired him a text about picking up the keys and he gave us instructions right away. The whole process was seamless. The apartment is as pictured and was clean when we arrived. The location was just what we were looking for with a few restaurants and cafes close by and great public transport links to the rest of the city. I would return to Trystan's place for sure.
Trystan made it easy to get into the apartment and stayed out of our hair, which is all you can ask for from a host. The apartment was nice and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway.
Our apartment was fantastic and exactly as described. It's incredibly well located and was perfect for walking around Portland. Also, awesome breakfast spot just across the street. Definitely want to stay again!
