Interaction with Guests
I only see guests when meeting them for keys.
Centrally located in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Portland. Downtown is just a short walk away. Or stay close-by and enjoy the chill neighborhood vibe and restaurants that Portland has become so famous for. Distillery Row and many brew-pubs are all within walking distance! There are only a few other places to stay in this zip-code which makes this unit a real gem!
Downtown is so close you can walk there in 20-25 minutes. Take a walk along the river-front, check out the lovely rose gardens in Ladd's Addition, or head just two blocks up to Colonel Summers Park and you might be treated to the sounds of Modest Mouse rehearsing nearby. Like most of Portland, the neighborhood has a reputation for being very safe... you never need to worry about walking places alone or at night or anything like that.
You can take the #15 bus that stops just across the street. If you bring a car, there is also plenty of on-street non-metered parking. Car2Go member?.. we have Car2Go's here! Cabs can be called and on average arrive within ten minutes. If you bring a bike, there is a bike storage room in the building.
Other Things to Note
If there is anything I can do to make your stay more comfortable, please don't hesitate to ask. While I am out of your hair after you check in, I am only a phone call or text away should anything arise.. happy to help!
As you can probably tell when you first arrive, I like to keep the place clean and tidy. I kindly ask that you do everything you can to keep it that way during your stay. There is a vacuum cleaner, broom, mop, and other cleaning supplies. Even any mishaps should occur, please attend to them right away.
Check in was very easy and Trystan was easily accessible. The keys were just where he explained. The apartment was clean as described. The neighborhood was perfect for walking to countless spots to eat and drink and a short drive to the center of town. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone who wants a true Portland experience!!
Trystan was a great host to work with. He was readily available for any questions and needs.
I was a bit disappointed with the apartment upon arrival. The images make the place seem quite bright and airy, but instead it is a bit musty and at the bottom floor of an apartment building. I have pretty bad allergies and am quite sensitive to this kind of atmosphere and seemingly cat smells so I must admit I was not thrilled with my booking.
That being said the host was fine and adequate and it is always nice to have a place to stay.
Great location. Easily walked to some cool stuff and nothing was more than a $10 uber ride away. We were much happier here than in a hotel. Quiet, safe, private spot to sleep and keep out stuff. Which is all we needed being out and about all day. Good value. Basic toiletries provided and a hair dryer which was great. No real "frills" but suited our needs and we would definitely stay again.
I stayed here with my brother from out of town. I loved the classic style of the studio. The room itself was nice and cozy situated in the corner of the complex.
The location was also super convenient for getting around Portland. It was just a quick bus ride from downtown Portland. Trystan was very helpful with our late check-in.
This apartment was clean, comfortable and super convenient. It was no problem getting into the apartment even though I flew to PDX very late at night. Buckman is a great little area, and this apartment is right in the heart of it!
Comfortable and easy! What a nice spot in a totally walkable neighborhood, close to food and drink in what seemed every direction. Very clean, quiet, and inviting apartment. Thanks for everything!
