Fantastic location in a hip and culturally diverse area of London. In the immediate area is Roman road market and Victoria park. Take the no 8 bus towards Hoxton and the lively local street markets of Columbia Road flower market, Brick Lane, Broadway Market, Spitalfields and Pettycoat Lane. Much loved by artists and city financiers alike the area offers vibrant restaurants, music venues, bars and night life as well as renowned galleries and museums - the Cube and Geffrye Museum being perhaps best known.
Alternatively take a leisurely stroll through the City to St Pauls, over the Millennium Bridge to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and have some lunch at The Tate Modern. Or head West and wonder around antique Bloomsbury, explore the wonderful treasures of the British Museum and pop in at one of the four Inns of Court to get a feel for medieval London. If you are feeling energetic there are many cycle paths along the canals which are great for poodling around on a lazy Sunday with a pit stop at the local pub.

Interaction with Guests
I travel frequently so I have a housekeeper that takes care of the house. I'm always available on email or (website hidden) .
I've lived in the east end on and off for 20 years. I love the bargains you find in the roman road market, the friendly eastenders, and the space and nature of victoria park and regents canal.
No 8 bus, straight through shoreditch and the city to oxford street...or mile end tube. Very easy...my main preference is cycling on the boris bikes..
Other Things to Note
2 days minimum booking just to fill up the gaps I have on the calander.
Please respect my neighbours, no late parties.
Please no spray on orange tans as in the past it stains all my bed linen!!
The wood surface in the kitchen no candles or hot things directly onto the wood (can damage easily) -
I spent thousands installing the pebbled balinese floors, please appreciate the reflexology and 'touching the earth' - please take off your shoes on the middle and top floor. You'll appreciate the space more as it will not have the energy of the streets of london in your sleeping areas.

We had a wonderful stay at "let-it-be Miss Bow". We stayed 4 nights / 5 days in the house with 5 adults and 2 children (8 and 10 years old). Very nice to have two bathrooms! The neighborhood is fine. With bus and subway city centre is easily accessible. Bus stops really at front of the house and the metro was a 15 minutes walk. The weather was beautiful, so little garden was lovely. Children were delighted with Victoria Park close by; so they could play football every evening. Neighborhood felt safe. But nice restaurants we have not (website hidden) was not really possible; kitchen was big enough, but not really equipped to cook; we missed good (frying) pans. Dishwasher was broken and there was no kitchen textiles for washing / drying. But no problem, we took take-away food to take home. House is relief after all day bustle of the city.
House is beautifully decorated. Equipped with all the luxuries. Wifi worked fast and well (after reset router). Hot water for shower was unfortunately limited availability; maybe because we were with 7 people.
It was nice that we could drop off our luggage before on arrival-day and could pick up later on our departure-day.
Communication with Claire was fine. Claire responds quickly and friendly.
Definitely a place to remember.
Everything is quite well organized (exept that first night when we arrived at 2.30am we were searching for key half an hour) and apartment was great fit to us.
Very safe neighborhood and 30 minutes to town.
Apartment was quite clean with a lot of space and nice atmosphere.
We had an excellent stay here and the communication was perfect. Everything we needed for our small group. The area is great and very affordable. We enjoyed our relaxing retreat a after touring around the UK. Would definately recommend this little oasis away from the hustle and bustle of London town.
We had an absolutely brilliant time at Claire's place in Mile End. It's a beautiful house - somewhere between urban retreat centre and boutique hotel - and we were delighted by the host of features the place offers. Great bath and shower, fabulous lighting, comfortable beds and a lovely living room.
We felt very well taken care of and welcomed - Claire had arranged everything for us and there was a very clear instruction manual at the property.
It was start to finish a good experience and I heartily recommend this place for anyone who wants to get away from it all in luxury - right in the middle of London!
arrivée super bien organisée. tous les détails sont disponibles via le site et sont aussi imprimés pour être consultés dans l'appartement
The house and it's interior is fantastic and it easily sleeps 8 people. We stayed here for four nights to visit London. Claire is very friendly and helpful.
