House was clean and comfortable. I liked the coffee machine and different coffee flavors available. There are detailed instructions for everything. But instructions are hidden in one of the kitchen closet. I realized them after a week. One day before check out I sent an e-mail to host to ask for late check out. But got no reply. We left the house after cleaning team arrived.
Linda was very accommodating and easy to reach. The carriage house was well located in a quiet neighborhood close to Stanford and University Ave in Palo Alto. It was nicely decorated and clean as shown. Travelers with any physical difficulties should take note there is a staircase without a railing, so this might not be the best rental for them.
I had a great stay in this bright, spacious and clean house - thanks Linda!
This cute carriage house was the perfect space for our week in Menlo Park. It was extremely comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. We also loved the decor and the bright, airy kitchen!
The apt. was even better than I expected from the photos. We stayed there for nearly a month while we were shopping for a new home. While small and cozy, it never got cramped-feeling. There was plenty of closet space. There were many thoughtful touches around the place (including a slow-close toilet seat) and it was decorated and outfitted as if she were doing it for friends or family, not just what one could get away with. The location was perfect for us. Good for walking around and a close drive to anywhere we needed to be. Linda was quick to respond to any questions.
Clean and Quiet; Good proximity to 101 and made for a pleasant stay (22 days.)
Did not use laundry facilities, as they were outside of the apartment and in a related building. (Chose to drop off clothes at cleaners instead.)
