We're a friendly host and enjoy talking with visitors to the Twin Cities or persons staying here for a longer duration. We respect the privacy of our guests, however, so allow them as much private time as they'd like.
The neighborhood is a great family-friendly area with many dog walkers, homes that have been kept up, and lovely maple trees in the Fall.
The house is near Grand Avenue which is a major bus route. It's also near the Lexington Parkway entrance to I-94 for heading East or West.
Nothing outlandish. If you respect us, we'll respect you.
Urban was a great host and invited me to an event he hosted the night I arrived. Most of my business was in Minneapolis, and it was really great that Urban offered to drop me at the metro station in the mornings. The room was comfortable and I even had a space heater available, necessary for a New Mexican in April.
Urban was a great host; totally welcoming and informative, but not at all intrusive. The bedroom is basic and comfortable, and there is a big common space available too. The house itself is a terrific place: big porch, tons of interesting wooden molding, very well maintained. I took walks in the neighborhood every day, either enjoying the pretty tree-lined streets or walking to the nearby shops. It was a nice little vacation spot while visiting a Mac student.
Urban made me feel very welcome. The description of the place was very accurate - it is a very simple room in a nice home. The neighborhood is wonderful and very enjoyable to walk about.
Urban was a very welcoming host and the location was perfect for my needs. However, I found the room and kitchen to be a little dirty. He did warn me that he hadn't had time to clean from the last renter. I'm sure the stay would be better next time.
It is a very nice house with beautiful envoronment. Urban is the best host I have ever seen. It is a smart and nice family. You will feel like home there.
I stayed at Urban's for two weeks during the late summer. The house is in one of the nicest neighborhoods of St. Paul. The house is clean, quiet, and well kept. I had to store groceries in the kitchen for my stay and there was more than enough room inside both the freezer and refrigerator. It was an excellent experience and I would recommend this location for other AirBnB travelers.
About the Host, Urban
A person who is always busy - either at my work for Hennepin County analyzing health data or the area amateur art scene playing music, putting on plays, and taking photos. Unless it's football season, then I'll be watching the Packers.
