An awesome house located in the Paseo Arts District and just a few steps from a great little art community with plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, and galleries. This house is unique and is a beauty!!! Its so comfortable you'll never want to leave!
Its a cozy and unique house with lots of charm. Owned by artists, so there's a lot of art work from different artists. The place has lots of character and is a perfect place to stay! There is one bedroom with a really comfy king size bed and also an extra bedroom with a full size bed. There is also a blow up mattress that I can fit into the main bedroom to accommodate 1-2 more people. There are additional fees that apply for more than 1 room and 2 guests.
California King size bed
Bath tub and shower.
Lovely sun room to relax in. A fully stocked kitchen.
Dogs allowed (fence is not closed in and fees apply)
The extra bedroom with the full size bed is available with an extra fee.
Interaction with Guests
I usually communicate through airbnb.com or through email. Sometimes I am in town to meet the guests, which is always fun. Airbnb does not reveal your phone number or email address to me until you have made your reservation. So, we'd be communicating through the site until you've confirmed.
Just across the street is the beautiful Paseo Arts District. There's plenty of art galleries, shops, bars, and restaurants to go to. Walkable neighborhood, which there aren't many in Oklahoma City.
There's also an awesome park, Edgemere Park, that is just a couple blocks away. We are dog friendly. The fence is currently not completely closed in though.
Its easy to get to down town and is in a central location to just about any good spot in the city.
There's a bus that is a few blocks away. Driveway parking, and extra parking in back. Safe neighborhood with friendly people.
Be kind to the art and house. Leave it as you came in, and we are golden!
Denise was a wonderful hostess! She was very prompt and helpful with our correspondence, and her house is beautiful. We had a wonderful weekend in the Paseo while staying in Denise's house and would recommend it to anyone coming to OKC.
Denise was a lovely host. She was easy to communicate and made our stay a great experience. Even though we were in town just for one night, her colorful house, the art pieces inside, the comfy beds will all be nice memories.
Details all perfect, coffee in the cupboard, information about the area handy, sweet clean sheets on an amazing bed and a beautiful sunny house full of original art. The neighborhood is great, growing with the paseo arts as one would expect. This is a great place to stay in OK City. We really felt at home, grateful not to have a colorless flavorless stay at a hotel!
My first air bnb experience was a great success. De's house is exactly as described and there is some lovely art through out. The bed was comfy and it was great to sit out back or on the side porch. Some more comfortable "hanging out" furniture would be a nice addition, especially as the weather in OKC in late March is delightful. My only complaint was the loud and raunchy neighbors, but it is what it is. I highly recommend this lodging.
Great communication. Lovely place with everything we needed. Clean and neat in every way. Very comfortable bed. Convenient location for our purposes of visiting downtown OKC.
Only disappointment: The nearby trains and what sounded like a pack of barking dogs made getting a full night's, restful sleep impossible.
Denise has a lovely place and she's a great host. Her house is very clean and it is very well located. My friends and I will definitely try to stay in her place the next time we go back to Oklahoma City.
My boyfriend and I loved our stay in the Heart of Paseo District (literally). It was a very artsy, cozy little home that felt welcoming from the very first step in. It's in a very convenient neighbor and a quick drive from Bricktown. Denise was helpful anytime I needed her assistance. I recommend this to everyone!
