This was a beautiful home with everything my friend and I needed - very nicely furnished and decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our own meals. The beds were super comfortable, too. We enjoyed the short walk to some of the shops and restaurants in the area, as well as the quick drive into Cleveland to explore what it had to offer.
I had surgery in the Cleveland and I wanted a place to stay that would allow me to feel like I was at home. Bob's cottage was just that. It had all we were looking for in comfort. We cooked all our meals in the fully functioning kitchen, sat on the porch when it was sunny, watched cable tv, etc. This is a perfect get away and relaxing space. The neighborhood was great too. We took short walks around the neighboring streets and it was quiet yet family oriented.
Everything was as described in the posting. We would happily stay there again.
Bob was a great host with ready recommendations for area restaurants and things to do. The house was wonderful, warm and welcoming. I felt right at home in his well appointed and super clean space. I could not have been more pleased. I have stayed in 5 star hotels and not had as nice an experience. We had one question in the middle of our stay and he responded immediately with directions. I would absolutely come back and recommend this to others without hesitation.
A very smooth arrival thanks to thorough instructions from host Bob. The home is in a solid working class neighborhood, quiet with sidewalks for strolling. The place is quite comfortable, clean and was exactly as it appeared online. The kitchen is well equipped though we did not eat there much. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Lakewood to visit family.
This was a great place. Very clean, comfortable and convenient. My family came to town for a funeral, and Bob had chicken soup and cookies waiting for us when we arrived. He also was very accommodating as this was a last minute reservation. Our kids were very comfortable here. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, but very convenient to restaurants and grocery stores. Highly recommend Bob's place!
Bob's place was fantastic. We travel to Cleveland several times a year and normally stay in Rocky River or Lakewood. The location was great and the house was wonderful! Clean, comfortable, felt like a brand-new house inside. We really couldn't have asked for a better place.
The house was well-stocked and felt like it was our own. Truly a home away from home!
Bob's place is super clean and cozy. We were there for a month and there was a couple of small issues that Bob resolved immediately. The place is well stocked with cleaning supplies and even spices and dry goods left over from other visitors. The location is super convenient because of quick highway access and a really nice Lakewood downtown food scene. Bob's architectural background really shows in the cleanness of the renovation and the fact that none of the doors stick at all. This experience was 10 times better than being in a hotel room for a month.
