We enjoyed our stay at Bob's "cottage" very much. It was just as he described. The kitchen was easily the best equipped of any place we have stayed thus far and the beds were very comfortable. We look forward to staying there again.
This place was fantastic! It was spotless upon arrival. Bob was very easy to communicate with and responded promptly. The location of the house is great, close to bars/restaurants. Lakewood is a great neighbourhood. The house itself is really nice, lots of charm and super clean, beds were comfy, very nicely decorated. The front porch was gorgeous! We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Cleveland!
Bob provided an absolutely wonderful place for our stay. His communication before our arrival was timely and clear. The instructions to enter the home were simple and access to the home was easy and allowed for a flexible arrival. Bob was accessible during our stay but gave us our privacy and did not intrude.
We had a fabulous experience at Bob's! The apartment was spotless when we arrived and even nicer than the photos. Bob was very responsive to our queries during our stay which was appreciated. Spending time on the very large front porch was one of our highlights. All in all a great experience and we hope to stay there again soon.
This was our first experience with airbnb. It couldn't have been better. Bob was a wonderful communicator, answering every question along the way in prompt fashion. The house was immaculate, comfortable and so nicely appointed. We had plenty of room for our family of 4. It was conveniently located to downtown Lakewood and we enjoyed many neighborhood walks while there. The porch was lovely and we were out there morning and night. We'll definitely try to stay here the next time we're in town. Thanks Bob!
Thanks Carolyn.... we are very proud of house. I will be adding a hair dryer and larger coffee maker to the house - however, I won't be adding a tea kettle. We had a bad experience with a guest leaving one on the stove too long, to the point of boiling all the water out of it. We have also found that most folks leave water in them and then we have a rust problem... have yet to find one that will stand up to this type of use.
Bob's cottage was everything we wanted in a home away from home and more. For me, the porch was my favorite place to just sit and watch the world go by. My daughter said the bed was the most comfortable bed she has ever slept in. Communications with Bob pre-arrival as well as during our stay were proactive and super accommodating. We felt so at home here and were very sad to leave (all vacations must come to end at some point!). The neighborhood is great: 1 minute from I-90 entrance, 10 minute walk to Malley's (we went almost every night) and Walgreens, as well as bars and restaurants. I cannot recommend this home enough. Thank you Bob for everything you did and we cannot wait to return next summer!
My fiance and I traveled back to her hometown of Cleveland to get married. Instead of intruding on family, we opted to rent Bob's house for the week prior to the wedding. We are so glad we did! We had a wonderful stay at Bob's house! The house is bright, clean, and a perfect spot to retreat to after a day of running around town. Location is also big advantage of the house. Not only is it located within a nice, quiet neighborhood with shops/restaurants in walking distance (like the brewpub we visited on numerous occasions), but it's also close to the highway (not close enough for highway noise, though) so getting to/from the airport and around Cleveland was super easy. Bob was great, as well. We didn't get a chance to meet him, but he provided us with easy check-in instructions so that we could settle in quickly. We would definitely stay at Bob's house again, and we plan to the next time we're in Cleveland!
