A car is a necessity in this area, as there isn't any public transportation.

Staying with Monica in her hillside home was such a pleasure.
She couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating.
The bed was comfy and I slept well. A big plus as I was working long hours. A spacious bedroom and bathroom were also much appreciated. For everyone wanting a vacation in this area, Monica's is the place to stay. A car is a must though but stunning countryside to drive through to get there.
Very nice house, comfortable place to stay for a while. Had the room (and bathroom) all to myself -- good privacy. Room didn't have air conditioning, and I sleep hot, but I was well enough with the fan on me. Nice quiet neighborhood, and easy access to the highway. Ample parking for my rental car. Recommended place to stay!
I enjoyed the 16 days in May at Monika's pretty and clean house very much, I had a great room (wonderful bed, very silent area) with a cute balkony and the best an own bathroom for myself. Monika is the best cook for oatmeal I ever know, I enjoyed her knowledge and advises about the area very much - but the most I enjoyed was her company... our talking about our lifes in different cultures, charing ideas and opinions and life experiences, cooking and eating together made my days very comfortable. I loved very much our wine tasting. For me it was the beginning of a friendship, I'm sure we'll see us again, thank you Monika fot that all
I stayed here a few days on a business trip. The location is convenient and clean. Monica is a great host and a great conversationalist.
Monica is a great host. Her accomodations are neat and clean, the bed is super comfortable, and she is knowledgeable about the surroundings. You are minutes from the 101 and about fifteen minutes from PCH. One observation, not complaint, is that there are roosters in the neighborhood, and in the morning they do what roosters do in the morning.
Tracey and I were greeted by a lovely woman who was more than gracious. She also makes a great oatmeal:) Monica is filled with joy and tons of information about the area. Her home was inviting and we had a great time at the winery Sip Malibu next door. Great t-shirts:) It was a perfect first Valentine's weekend with my boyfriend and Monica made it great!
Monica was very gracious and hospitable. My room came with my own private bathroom, which was great.
Monica had fresh tree ripened oranges and oatmeal available in the morning. The neighborhood was extremely quiet but quite a short drive to west lake village. All in all, a great stay!
I'm from Agoura (Ventura County/Los Angeles County line) California. I very much enjoy meeting & getting to know people from all walks of life & all parts of the globe.
