The bedroom with a view ... some fireworks on a Saturday night to enjoy from the bed..
Els was a super helpful host. She answered all of our questions promptly and even arranged transportation to the airport the day we left Rome. The apartment is very eclectic and uniquely designed. Els has thought of every detail a traveler might need.
We were met by Els when we arrived. She was very accommodating and spoke good English which was very helpful. The room was ready and the aircon was on. Accommodation was clean and tidy. Els left us to ourselves but was available when we required her help. She even booked some rail tickets for us. A nice person. We enjoyed our stay.
Els was not present during our stay. Her neighbors helped us. This flat is accessible from the street; however, we had to go through a neighbors apartment to initially access it. Apartment is not as nice as pictures portray it. Stairs are extremely steep and little. Sliding glass door had huge cracks in it. That being said, the AC blew cold air, the bed was comfortable, and the shower water was hot. The wine left for us was delicious - a favorite on our trip!
My boyfriend and I really liked this place. It was clean and conveniently located. The wifi and AC worked well. Els also has arranged a pick-up for us at the airport. Els was always very responsive and gave us alot of great recommendations!
Els was very accommodating on our last minute booking. She had her son help us into the apartment. It is very close to the metro station and has everything we needed. Els was a wonderful host and even booked us a car for to take us to the airport in the morning. We loved Rome and the apartment!
Little gem in perfect location.
We have been at this cute little apartment for 5 nights and it just meets the description one to one. Located very close to the metro stop Battistini wich gives quick access to the city approx. 30. minutes to the centre and still is located in the real rome without thousend of tourists around and noisy streets under your window. It was always a pleasure for us to come from a long day walking around. Their are little restaurants around with typically roman food fora good price not the tourist crap, an awesome 24/7 bakery wich got the best stuff at night time and a little very good gelateria. But best thing about this place is the host, Els was just always their for us if we had question or needed anything. She was also very helpfull with our transportation from and to the airport. If we come back to rome we will stay here again for sure. Again a big thanks for having us and if you ever come to Melbourne let us know :). Ines + Ben
Els' s place was fantastic! It's situated a few minutes' walk away from a metro. Right outside of the 'tourist' area of Rome. About a 10-minute metro ride to all the main attractions. Nice and quiet at night and comfortable bed. Terrace was a great place to sit back, relax and have a glass of wine. Multiple markets in the area open early & late and cheap restaurants with incredible food. We had a problem with the ac upstairs but right away, Els was there with a solution! She was always available to answer our questions and provide suggestions to help us out in any way possible. Will definitely stay at her place again if we ever return to Rome. Thank you so much Els!
