Kathryn is really a great person. She is very friendly, funny and energetic. She was kind enough to introduce me to some of her friends and she was very helpfull in general in discovering Austin. The house is very welcoming and the neiberhoods are good. I never had any problems with the kats for one month. I was really fortunate to find Kathryn as a host.
Nearby her house (like 5 minutes walking) there are two big renting companies: Hertz and Enterprise. That was an advantage for me.
I had a pleasant stay with Kathryn, who is a considerate host and provides polite conversation and healthy breakfast offerings. The whole condominium is clean, well organized, and even includes free wireless Internet access (WiFi). (And if you're a little bit of a klutz like me, just be careful when walking around the hard wood edges of the bed frame.) Her cats mostly kept to their own business though gradually started to trust me after a few days; however, unlike the cats, I was not able to pet the deer I saw passing by the condo late one night. It was also a reasonable walk from the condo to the conference I was attending at the nearby Renaissance hotel. The place was my first AirBnB experience, and one I can recommend.
The host was very courteous and pleasant. The neighborhood was very nice and the stay was great. Everything that I expected and more. Would definitely recommend this host and property.
Kathryn was very accommodating, welcoming and helpful. She is low key and easy to chat with. She made sure I had the things that I needed/wanted for breakfast. And like others have said, the cats are very unobtrusive. The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean. I was able to walk to my conference every day, as well as to restaurants and the grocery store. And there is even a nice trail to walk through the trees not too far from her place. I would definitely stay here if you're in the Arboretum area.
Kathryn had been a wonderful host. She has a very nice apartment with internet access and morning coffee with serials!! Would love to stay at her apartment whenever I visit austin next time. Thank you Kathryn!!
Kathryn was a good host. The bed in our room was lovely. It was very sweet of her to bake muffins for us. Wifi was provided and the speed was not too fast, but decent.
The only slight inconvenience I can think of was that while the toilet was assigned to us, the bathroom was shared.
Kathryn is a wonderful caring host. And the place is near to the Austin arboretum area if you are attending any events happening there. A little higher speed internet can helpful... Other than that I have no reservations about recommending her place...
Thanks for checking out my condo! This place has the 3Cs: clean, cozy and comfy. I've also been told it's very "Zen-like." I have two mellow cats named Hazel and Zoe.
I like movies, theater, reading, dancing, music and singing, yoga and spirituality, bike riding and spending time with family and friends. I travel regularly to my hometown, Chicago, and also have family in L.A., Minneapolis, Madison and KC. Been to Europe (3 countries) and hope to travel more in the coming years.
I promise your stay with me will be clean, quiet and comfortable. And I hope you'll enjoy discovering the fun and uniqueness of Austin!
