Closest restaurant and bar to condo with overpriced but good food and drinks. I like the salmon with maple bacon Brussels sprouts. Outdoor seating is nice.

  • Spindini

Pricey restaurant with good food and very close walk to the condo. On Memphis Grizzlies game nights, you will often see several players there post game.

  • Gus's Fried Chicken

I am from the South and can get fried chicken this good at Grandmas house. If you arent from here though, this is awesome fried chicken with a bit of a spicy kick and you cant get it another way.

Absolute wonderful place to visit and learn about unfortunate events in our region and nations history. It is from a sad time that brought forth a leader to take trials upon him that most would never

Inconsistent but this is my favorite BBQ ribs when they are at their best. Some visits I get undercooked or overcooked and I wish theyd be more consistent if Im going to recommend it. Local beer!

Decent local coffee shop just a couple of blocks away.

  • Earnestine & Hazel's

Beer and a soul burger is what you do here. It is an institution and you can walk upstairs to see what has been a brothel, dry goods store, and more. Different visits bring differing experiences.
South Main Street Memphis TN 38103
  • Rizzo's Diner

I enjoyed this restaurant the one time I visited and it gets really good reviews from everyone. It was featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives for their Lobster Pronto Pups.

  • The Blue Monkey

Great late night place to grab some different bar food and drinks. Hot wing egg rolls are good. They do allow smoking inside so be warned.
South Front Street Memphis TN 38103
  • Cheesecake Corner

I think it is about $8 for a slice of various cheesecake offerings. You can also get wine or other drink options (not beer or liquor). I enjoy it.

  • The Arcade Restaurant

The Arcade has the honor of being Memphis oldest restaurant. Speros Zepatos founded the diner in 1919 after immigrating from Cephalonia, Greece. Food is decent and worth the visit.

    Beale St Memphis TN 38103
  • Flying Saucer Draught Emporium

Beer, beer, and more beer! They have beers from all over the world on draft and in bottles. Order flights and try a small variety of different beers to see what you like. Pool table and darts too.
