Private bedroom and bathroom in modern condo, located on the border of the the North Beach and Fisherman's Wharf neighborhoods.

The Space

Thank you for considering my home for your stay in San Francisco.

You'll have your own private bedroom and private full bathroom in a beautiful modern condominium, located between NORTH BEACH, San Francisco's most lively and convenient neighborhood (also known as "Little Italy"), and FISHERMAN'S WHARF.

THE LOCATION:

- Fisherman's Wharf neighborhood, restaurants, and cafés
- Ferry boat terminals to Alcatraz Island
- Supermarkets, pharmacies, other convenient stores
- Sight Seeing/Tour booking locations
- Car Rental
- Bicycle rental
- Public Transportation

From this location you won't need a car to see the most popular sights of San Francisco.

The POWELL-MASON CABLE CAR line passes right in front of the building (as you can see in the exterior building photo), as does the #30/STOCKTON bus to/from Union Square and the Marina District (including the Palace of Fine Arts, and transfer to bus that goes to the Golden Gate Bridge); buses and street cars to other areas are nearby as well.

THE CONDO:

The condo is modern and nicely furnished, with Xfinity X1 HD cable TV (including HBO), Blu-Ray DVD player, wireless internet, unlimited local/national (domestic) telephone calls, clothes washer & dryer in the unit, iron/ironing board, fireplace, private balcony, and rooftop common use area that offers incredible views.

Your bedroom and bathroom are located in a separate "wing" of the condo, which offers additional privacy.

Your bedroom is spacious and clean, and bright with lots of windows and full afternoon sun; in the room are:

- a queen-size bed with a 2” memory foam mattress topper
- Futon (becomes a 2nd full-size bed when opened)
- flat screen 32" cable TV
- writing table, desk chair
- universal electric adapter plug (not a voltage converter)
- lamps
- tower fan
- wall heater
- alarm clock

- full length mirror
- spacious closet
- local tourism books, pamphlets, and maps

Your private full bathroom has a bathtub/shower, and is just outside the bedroom. Towels, soap, shampoo, hair dryer, sewing kit, and even emergency toothbrushes (single use) are provided for you to use.

You are more than welcome to use the kitchen and everything in it (new, stainless steel appliances installed in September 2013), the living room, and the common rooftop deck.

NO ADDITIONAL FEES:

There are no additional or hidden fees for your stay (deposit, cleaning, etc.), other than the fee that AirBNB charges, and any applicable City taxes, which should appear as you are creating your reservation.

CHECK-IN TIME:

I typically arrive home from work at about 5:00 p.m. (Mon-Fri), but I can often be flexible with that, so we can work out the best time for you to arrive. For weekend/holiday arrivals, I should be able to accommodate your arrival time easily.

COME AND GO AS YOU PLEASE:

You'll have your own key(s), so you can come/go as early or late as you'd like.

I work normal weekday business hours, am quiet, clean, and respectful of your space. I'm happy to give you ideas on places to go and things to do.

PARKING:

Available on the street without a permit or meter from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. (2 hour limit at other times), and there are several lots in the area that charge approximately $20 per day. I also have some parking secrets that can help you save some money.

BREAKFAST NOT INCLUDED:

My schedule doesn't allow me to be able to provide a cooked or full breakfast, so "Breakfast included" isn't listed as one of the Amenities (I just want to set appropriate expectations).

I do keep a very simple set up that includes a variety of cold cereals, milk, and juice. I have a Keurig single serve coffee maker, and I keep some K-cups for you, but if you have a favorite K-cup flavor, feel free to bring your own K-cups. The coffee maker also serves hot water and I keep a supply of tea and coffee bags.

There are 4 cafés within one block, and there is a Starbucks 2 blocks away.

BINGO:

I have a dog named Bingo. He's a mixed breed of 20 pounds, extremely friendly, and doesn't shed his fur; he's clean, quiet, housebroken, and I keep his hair cut short. There is a small gate that keeps him in my room if you don't want him to visit with you.

He loves company, but typically just sleeps on my bed all day. You can see by the reviews how well behaved he is.

ROOM AVAILABILITY
(More than 2 months from now, or for extended stays of more than 30 days):

Because my job sometimes requires travel (and due to occasional personal travel), I typically only open room availability on my calendar 2 months in advance. If you would like to stay here for a later time period, please send a message to me with your anticipated dates, and I'll do my best to try to block out the nights for you. Please understand that my nightly rates do increase March through October.

Guest Access

In addition to your private bedroom and bathroom, you are more than welcome to use the kitchen and living room. My hope is that you will make yourself comfortable. I don't have many rules, other than no smoking indoors.

Interaction with Guests

I'm happy to assist with advice, directions, suggestions. Depending on how our schedules coincide, we may see a lot or just a little of each other, but I enjoy sharing stories and getting to know the new friends I meet here.

The Neighborhood

North Beach is home to a number of great restaurants, cafés, and bars, and is walking distance to numerous interesting neighborhoods and landmarks.

Getting around

The 30/Stockton bus line runs right in front of my home, as does the Cable Car to Union Square. Within a few blocks are other bus and rail lines, and taxis are plentiful.

  • Ron is an absolutely incredible person and host. Our flight from the East Coast was heavily delayed, and we did not arrive until 2 in the morning local time. When we arrived exhausted, Ron was standing on the street corner with a smile. That's something you cannot replicate. The house is gorgeous, Bingo the dog is adorable, and it is a perfect location. The restaurants and cafes within one block are so delicious and Ron is incredibly helpful. Definitely stay here!

  • Ron was a great host with a lovel condo in a very nice part of San Francisco.I had freedom to move about as well as privacy when I needed it.
His dog, Bingo was an absolute delight to have around. I highly recommend Ron's accommodation.

  • From the moment we arrived Ron (and Bingo) made us feel so very very welcome into their home. The place was exceptionally clean and tidy and we were very grateful for Ron's advice on things to do in SF and the parking arrangements around the area. As each day passed we became closer as friends and we are looking forward to having Ron visit us one day (as he has promised). We had great evenings of conversation and wine and we are pleased to include Ron to our evergrowing family as we cannot say enough "good stuff" about him. You will not be disappointed if you chose to stay at Ron's and the accommodation at his place was absolutely fabulous. No complaints whatsoever in any way. Our stay in SF could not have been any better and we thank Ron and Bingo for our adventure in their gorgeous city.... Don't hesitate in booking with Ron as you will only have a great experience. Thanks Ron, you made our Honeymoon holiday in SF absolutely wonderful.

  • Ron made us feel extremely welcome, and gave us everything we needed to make our stay easy and enjoyable. His condo is beautiful, clean, and offers plenty of privacy. It is also located in an unbeatable part of the city. My boyfriend and I stayed at Ron's while looking for an apartment in SF and we liked the neighborhood so much, we found a place just a few blocks away! I can't say enough great things about our experience at Ron's place (and his hospitality!), and highly recommend a stay here!!

  • The apartment is in a perfect location to visit SF. Ron made us feel very welcome at his place. The bedroom and bathroom was very nice, clean and spacious. We also had a lot of privacy because the room had a little hallway that separated it from the rest of the apartment. When we met Ron the first day, he gave us great recommendations of where to go in the city. Thank you for everything! We want to come back ;) Katha & Charly

  • Ron is an excellent host. The place was excellent, great room, light, clean and an own bathroom. Ron is very helpful and can be contacted anytime. We felt welcome. The location is great, with easy transport to downtown SF and lots of restaurants on walking distance. We would use Ron's hospitality again in San Francisco.

  • We had an awesome stay in San Francisco thanks to Ron! From the roof top deck with awesome views morning and night to a very comfortable bed to sleep in! Everything was clean and that's a big deal to us! We had easy access to cable cars and bus lines - just blocks away from the wharf. Ron was very welcoming and incredibly informative about great places to see and good food ideas too! We will cherish the memories! Definitely will try to stay again when we make our way back to San Francisco!!!

  • We had an amazing time in San Francisco and staying at Ron's codo. Ron, was away on vacation so unfortunately we did not have the pleasure to meet him, but someone else was there to coordinate everything with us and he was very helpful and accommodating. The condo is fantastic and clean and the location couldn't be more convenient. It's just a few blocks to pretty much everything you want to do as a tourist while in San Francisco and supermarkets are close by. We ended up walking for most of our trip because of how convenient Ron's place is.

  • What an incredible experience! This should be everyone’s choice for an apartment in San Francisco. I am not sure where to start. The location is could not be better. It is located right on the cable car line and pretty much all the main attractions are walking distance away. The apartment itself was incredible. It was modern and clean, it had everything you could possibly need and jam packed with information for visitors. Ron took care of everything perfectly. This should be your default choice for an airbnb apartment in San Francisco. Ron, thank you for everything.
