Unplug and relax at our off-grid log cabin in the serene Montana wilderness. The cabin overlooks the Missoula valley and is a short drive to downtown Missoula, Snowbowl Ski area and the Rattlesnake wilderness.

This listing is for the lower apartment only. If you’re traveling with a larger group, the upper and lower units can also be rented together.

The space
The lower unit has its own private entrance, offering a comfortable and private space within the property. It features one bedroom with a kind-size beds and a pull-out sofa in the living area for additional guests.

The unit includes a full bathroom with a shower and a fully equipped kitchen, making it idea for longer stays or guests who prefer their own space.

There is a cozy living space for reading and a wood stove for use during the colder months.

There is also laundry facilities available.

Guest access
Visitors will enjoy access to over 70 acres that the cabin sits on as well as thousands of acres of adjacent USFS land that offers hiking, biking and cross country skiing.

Guests also have access to the back patio and front deck for outdoor dining.

The apartment is completely self-contained and designed to feel like your own private retreat. While the property also includes an upper apartment, there are no shared interior spaces. You may see other guests on the property only if the upper unit is occupied.

Other things to note
We are totally off the grid and work hard to heat with wood, pump our water and sustainably produce electricity. The cabin provides all the creature comforts needed for daily living, however, visitors are asked to be mindful of water and energy consumption.

Please be courteous of the other guests on the property.
