Beautifully renovated, quiet and light self contained annexe offering breath taking views of the River Spey valley. Snuggled in the heart of Speyside (between Aberlour & Rothes), Calderwood Annexe, is the perfect base from which to explore the world famous Whisky Country, Scottish Highlands, Cairngorm National Park and Moray Coastal Trail.

Free from noise or light pollution, surrounded by woodland and wonderful open countryside, Calderwood Annexe offers complete peace and serenity.

The space
The Annexe is located to the rear of our home, has its own private entrance with a key lock-box for self check in/out and is completely self contained.

Sleeping up to 4 people (king bed & sofa bed), our light and spacious open plan suite offers an inviting living/sleeping space taking in panoramic views of the River Spey valley.

It comes equipped with a very cute kitchenette and WC/shower room. The kitchenette has an undercounter fridge/freezer, a combined microwave/oven, single induction hob, kettle, toaster and dolce gusto coffee machine. The WC/shower room has a blissful monsoon shower, the perfect retreat following a day of exploring the beautiful Scottish surroundings.

Guests will have shared access to our large garden and are welcome to sit and enjoy time there. A picnic bench, throws and camping chairs have been provided.

There is a short uphill walk to the rear of our home with some incredible views. A must if you have a spare half hour! Turn right at the gate, head for the mast and back down again.

Guest access
Guests will have sole use of the annexe which has its own private entrance and will have shared access to our sizeable garden.

Private parking is available anywhere in front of the triple garage.

Other things to note
Calderwood Annexe is accessed via a private uphill track road which is quite bumpy. Please drive slowly when travelling to and from the property.

If visiting during snow/icy conditions, a 4x4 or trusty vehicle is advisable. On the rare occasion when/if the road ices over, you may have to park at the bottom of the road and venture to the annexe by foot which is approx. 1/2 a mile.
