Abutting a greenbelt, this space is a great place to call home during your stay in Bellingham. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and marble counter tops. The Airbnb includes a washer and dryer, open concept layout, a bedroom with a queen bed, a room with a king and toddler bed, 3/4 bathroom, a room with a twin bed, and a backyard. There is a paved path down the left side of the house leading to your private entrance. All amenities are distinct and private from the rest of the house.

The space
Although attached to the main house, the space you'll be occupying is totally private. There is street parking available and we ask that you don't park in the driveway unless expressly told otherwise. There is street parking directly in front of the house that is typically available for one car but if you have more then one vehicle please park the extra vehicles down the block along the retaining pond to respect our neighbors space. All photographed amenities are exclusively yours to use. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, pots, pans, plates, silverware, etc and some basic cooking supplies. You have your own laundry room with detergent and dryer sheets available for your use. One bedroom has a queen bed, one has a king bed and toddler bed, and the other has a twin bed. The two main bedrooms have closets, nightstands, and dressers. The main living area has a couch with a chaise lounge that also converts into a queen size bed, a love seat, and an optional queen size air-mattress bed is available to blow up and put in the living room. There are additional clean blankets, sheets, and bedding options available in the living room closet and electric fireplace and space heater if you'd like to adjust the heat in your rental. The house is on central air so if it's too hot or cold just let us know and we can modify the thermostat for the overall house temperature (we can do this remotely as well if we aren't home). Additionally there are window fans you can set-up in each room to cool the unit down as needed that can suck hot air out or in depending on how you set them up. There is no AC in the house.

Where you’ll be

Bellingham, Washington, United States

We're in a little pocket neighborhood that dead ends. At night you can hear the frogs in the greenbelt behind the backyard as it's pretty quiet/peaceful. The neighborhood was built around 2008 and almost all of the homes are single family residences. There are lots of kids in the neighborhood that like to play in street/run back and forth between their friends houses so please drive slowly and cautiously when you turn onto Kramer Lane. The house is a four minute drive to Safeway, a seven minute drive to Costco and Fred Meyer, and a 15 minute drive to downtown Bellingham.

I'm a big proponent of the work hard play hard mentality. I’m a CPA that has grown up in the Pacific NorthLeft and love hiking, kayaking, and getting outside in nature. One of my life goals is to hit all of the National Parks and National Historic sites in the United States (so far I've been to 112 of the 401) but usually the journey is just as fun as the destination. I love meeting fellow travelers, sharing stories, and hearing about unique destinations, neighborhoods, restaurants, and natural features to go explore. I tend to plan my trips with the mentality that I need to see everything, but it’s the unplanned side adventures that always end up being the most memorable.

During your stay

My husband Mark and I are your hosts and live upstairs with our toddler Maddie and infant Kennedy. If you have any questions or need anything we're readily available, but if you just want your privacy and don't want to interact with us there is self-check in and the unit is totally private. We've lived in Bellingham for the last 18 years and are happy to share restaurant tips, our favorite parks, and point you in the direction of the best breweries or whatever you fancy. :)
