Interaction with Guests
I realize my guests don't come to San Francisco to meet me. I generally stay out of guests way but am available to answer any questions or assist in any way I can to make their stay more enjoyable.
* No smoking indoors ..... if you don't mind - you can smoke on the deck :)
* This is a residential neighborhood so no parties &/ loud music please
* When you go up & down the stairs, there are people who live on either side...,so,
if you arrive late, PLEASE be quiet & mindful when opening/closing the gate.
* The (email hidden)ease be careful to both shut & latch the gate each time you go in or
out otherwise, the wind will catch it and break it off its hinges.
* We try really hard to recycle as much as possible.
Since California is experiencing its fourth year of drought , water restrictions have been imposed; in view of this please be mindful of water consumtion - thanks
-If excessive cleaning is necessary, an extra $75.00 cleaning fee will be applied.
Mia and Sal were great hosts. They really went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed to feel at home. The studio itself is really comfortable, full of character and has fantastic views over San Francisco. I'd definitely stay here again.
The studio was beautiful; exactly as described in the listing. Mia was very responsive from the moment we requested it. There were specific instructions all over, which made it so we didn't have to bother Mia. The fridge was stocked with some treats which was great after a long day of travel. The neighborhood is quiet and has some nice views of the city.
Mia was incredibly responsive and on top of things throughout the stay.
I arrived to Mia and Sal's place having had a pretty stressful day and walking into their studio made it all better: A beautiful view, warm, cozy , greats books, and impecable. The Bed was more comfortable than my own, I had the best nights rest during my stay.
Not to mention how caring and welcoming Mia and Sal were the entire time I was in SF. There was a power outage and they took care of it right away and made sure I was comfortable.
I was hesitant about staying so high up the hill and it turned out to be the perfect place to go for walks every morning with breath taking views and surrounded by nature. When I go back to SF I will definitely try to stay with them again.
Staying at the Dog House - which feels my SF home-away-from-home by now - is always such a joy. Mia thinks of every tiny little thing and makes the place warm, cozy, and so very welcoming. It is the most restful, magical, beautiful spot in the city! And the garden (with stunning views of the city) is just gorgeous. I can't wait to find an excuse to come back!
