  • We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was absolutely wonderful! The studio apartment was beautiful, clean, and full of cute decorations. The bed is next to a window with a view of the charming back yard and a great view of the city and ocean. There is a cute patio right outside the bedroom where you can sit and relax and enjoy the view. Located in a very nice and conveniently located neighborhood. There is a bus stop around the corner and restaurants, bars and stores within walking distance. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in this city! Thank you to Mia & Sal for being such great host! :) Will definitely stay here again when we visit San Francisco.

  • Perfect space for me and my husband. Amazing location (so walkable to many great neighborhoods) and fantastic view. Would return in a heartbeat to Mia's studio!

  • "In the doghouse" took on a new connotation after our visit to Sal & Mia's home. Yes, we felt at home. The bed was the most comfortable and warm I have every slept in, including mine (María).
When we arrived, we found milk, yogurt, toast, cream cheese and beer in the fridge, and ice cream sandwiches in the freezer. The kitchenette was fully appointed to meet our needs.
There were PLENTY of towels and many amenities in the bathroom to take are of our needs.
The views of the city were breathtaking! We had views from our deck and windows.
Since we drove, one of the considerations was parking. There was ample parking on the street at all hours. This saved us a lot of money.
The neighborhood was quiet, safe and very nice.
Thanks Mia and Sal for your hospitality and attention to our every need. We wouldn't think of staying elsewhere on our return to San Francisco.

  • The wife and I were coming to SFO for a weekend of exploring, and the Dog House looked like an awesome place to use as home base. We couldn't have made a better choice! Everything was as advertised, and Mia was an excellent communicator before and during our stay. The place was simple and well furnished, and the view from the back porch is fantastic. The location puts it within walking distance of the Castro, and a bus ride (or a hilly walk) of the Haight. Guests here would be strongly recommended to use public transportation, as there is a bus stop just a few meters from the front door that provides very quick access to BART and MUNI rail lines.

As an added bonus, we got to meet Mia on our way out the door, which was awesome!

  • The studio was really really nice, the view from the bedroom was amazing, and the neighbor was beautiful and quiet.
The studio is only hundred meter from the muni bus, it's so easy arrive in every corner of the city.
Mia has been really nice host,
If we'll return in SF, for sure we'll came back in mia's studios.

  • Mia was a great host, she gave a lot of tips and was very accommodating and really made sure we were enjoying our stay. The greeting basket was an extra nice bonus! The apt is cozy, clean and in a very nice area of SF with great view!

  • Mia's place was adorable. It was very clean and cutely decorated. When we arrived there were chocolates on the pillows and a breakfast set for two. There's a beautiful view of the city from the balcony and a cute table set up where you can enjoy your morning coffee/tea. The location is perfect, just a couple blocks up from the Castro district in a cute neighborhood.. Very easy to get to the heart of the city, but just on the out skirts so you have a nice quiet and cozy place to relax at night. Very comfortable setting I recommend this spot for everyone.

  • We had a great time in SF and Mia's place played a role in that. We found the place easily and the notes and attentions waiting for us made us feel at home (like fresh pastries and orange juice). Our emails got answered easily and the location of the apartment is perfect.
Would go back anytime, thank you Mia!

  • This was a great place to stay. A very cute studio in a unique area with a great view of the city. Just a few blocks away from the Castro Theater and a bunch of delicious restaurants

Mia was a great host. The place was clean, plenty of towels, great instructions and tips on things to do in San Francisco, and most importantly a Bodum French press!
