Paulita's apartment was exactly what I expected. We mainly wanted something that was close to downtown of St. Petersburg, so we wouldn't have to drive. The apartment was well maintained, no neighbours in the building, so gives you a sense of privacy. Location is not super close to the pier, but walking distance if you're up for a 40 min walk. There was a bus stop nearby, just two blocks away on Central Avenue and 20th street. It costs about 50 cents to get to downtown.
We've never met Paulita, but she did offer help and guidance. She did respect our privacy and let us enjoy her place without any interference.

About the Host, Paulita
I am originally from Trinidad and Tobago. I have lived in St Pete for several years and I love it here. I love to travel but I don't get to do it nearly enough. As a host I let you do your own thing. Come and go as you please, but I am also open sitting and chatting.
