  • Cassie was great and very communicative, even though we never bumped into each other in person! The neighborhood was great, and the guest house was so relaxing and homey. We also put the kitchen to good use, and there were plenty of pots/pans/dishes for 2 people. The balcony was also very pleasant, and the bed very comfortable!

  • Cassie's Alamo Heights House was perfect for our 2-day trip to San Antonio. The Alamo Heights neighborhood seemed quaint/family friendly with parks nearby, but we didn't spend too much time exploring the neighborhood itself. The house was only a short 6 mile (~10 min) drive to get downtown. It was perfect for 2 people, and you could really tell Cassie had spent time predicting what you might need during you're stay, including snacks.

Hi Divya, yes i noticed that you had to use kleenex! So sorry about that. I'm glad that you otherwise enjoyed your stay, and thank you for contributing to the travel book with your fun things to do while visiting. That really adds a lot for other guests when they come.

  • What a great place for a short or long stay - you will have everything you need here including comfort and cleanliness. I was traveling on business to sell my wines to local restaurants so I needed a convenient place to stay (I no longer stay in hotels - only AirBnB and it has been a great change, so much more comfortable with better amenities!). Cassie and her husband are very sweet and made sure that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay - including some welcome chocolate and other snacks - bonus! The place was quite a bit larger than I had expected, the photos, although nice, don't do it justice. I would certainly recommend Cassie's place to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay in a great location!

  • Great place to stay at. We loved our stay, it's a small quite little retreat house. Cassie provided a warm welcome and lots of privacy. We will definitely stay here again.

  • My husband and I loved staying in Cassie's Alamo Heights Guest house! The moment we stepped in we felt at home. The guest house was so cozy and comfortable as well as spotless! We especially enjoyed the extra touches such as the suitcase containing area information and the basket of goodies in the kitchen area. Cassie was also kind enough to allow us to stay a bit longer since we had a late afternoon flight. We especially appreciated this as there were thunderstorms on our day of departure and it took longer to pack the car. We tried to sit on the balcony in the treetops but the rain did not cooperate. We hope to stay again when we visit San Antonio!

    Response from Cassie:

Hi Lori, thank you for your comments. I should leave a note about the hallway light. It is wired a little "wonky" and does work, but only if one switch is a flipped a certain way at the bottom and the other is a certain way a the top. I'm so sorry about that! We hope to see you again next time your travels bring you to San Antonio.

  • This was a great place to stay for us! It was located very close to the places we wanted to visit. The guest house is well furnished and comfortable. Lots of special decorating that makes it homey and quaint. The host was easy to work with and helped when we needed something. Treats were ample. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

  • This is a great location. Very nice and comfortable. Quiet- laid back neighborhood. Host is very accommodating and takes care of little details that matter.

  • Our stay at Cassie's guest home completely exceeded our expectations. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and it was a short walk to public transportation to get to downtown San Antonio. Sadly we did not have a chance to check out the attractions on Broadway which is the main road by the guest home, but there are definitely a wide variety of attractions within walking distance. The McNay is a museum about a mile away and it is not to be missed!
The home itself has everything you could possibly need during your stay. Perhaps our favorite aspect was the beautiful balcony with the surrounding trees. Especially considering the hot Texas weather, we were very grateful to have a lovely sitting area nestled in the trees.
Our host Cassie was a wonderful person, and extremely accommodating. Her kindness and thoughtfulness is reflected in every detail of her beautiful guest home. We could not have asked for a better place to stay in San Antonio, it is highly recommended!

  • I really enjoyed my stay at Cassie's guest house. The neighborhood was great- close to public transit - and the house felt like a home away from home. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal (i.e. pots/utensils) and there was a wonderful basket filled with little treats. Although we did not meet in person, she checked in on me via text and if I had a question she was very quick to respond. I would definitely recommend her guest house to anyone visiting San Antonio.

  • Cassie, what a beautiful place you have. My husband and I will be married 33 years and we could not have asked for a better more quiet country feel place to spend our week. The little things gave us time to relax before heading to the store. The little kitchenette was perfect size. We definitely will look you up again when we come back to Texas.
