This apartment is totaly independant and not shared with anyone.
We are located 15 minutes to Manhattan direct to Times Square by bus.
If you were to stay in the Bronx it would take you 40 min to get to Times Square. If you were to Stay in Brooklyn it would take you the same amount of time as subways in Brooklyn are not direct. If you were to stay in Manhattan you would not find a place as big as this one for this price.
There are many buses going direct to the City in the heart of Times Square. 24/7 bus services to the City. The bus stop is just around the corner from the house.
Transportation is probably underrated. There are about 3 -4 major bus routes which go along the cliff coming into port authority in about 20 min. There is a free bus to a ferry at the bottom of the cliff which comes round every 10 min. There are also the little jitney buses which come around every few minutes get you into town. So across the official NJ Transit, the little jitney buses and the ferry you can get into town at any time within about 20 min. Oh yes there is another bus into hoboken from boulevard east (road on the cliff) as well.
The bus will take you to Port Authority 42nd St subway station (lines A, C, E). This station is a central subway hub and you can easily walk to lines 1, 2, 3, 7, N, Q and R. (Important: Subway tickets cost $2.5 per ride but you can buy 7-days unlimited pass at $29)
The apartment is an independent 3 bedroom
It is equipped with bed linens, towel and private bath, cable TV in each room, WIFI
It has a nice balcony overlooking the garden where you may use the BBQ
There are many little restaurant near the house and the neighborhood is safe.
The house is located a block away from Boulevard East where you will see breathtaking views of the Manhattan and million dollar houses!
Best panoramic view if you ask me.

The town was populated mainly with Italian Americans and German Americans. The 1960s saw an influx of Cuban émigrés to the area, once called Havana on the Hudson; it has since has become one of the United States cities with a majority Hispanic population. Simultaneously, high-rise apartments, some of the tallest buildings in North Hudson, were built along Boulevard East, adding to the population of the town, giving it one of highest population densities in the country. Since the 1980s the Hudson waterfront, which had been part of the Weehawken Terminal has been redeveloped from industrial to residential and recreational uses, including the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway.
It's an excellent running / jogging track with great view of New York Skyline and Hudson River. There are parks along side and benches where you can rest and enjoy the view.

"each city and community grabble with collecting taxes and keeping these short-term guest houses from becoming community party homes with a constant year-round cycle of new faces, new loud music, new license plates. The problem is this: Hotels are generally not on your block. The late-night pool parties or the drunken arguments don't affect us. This is a community, we have the right to a good night's sleep. We have the right to feel safe and we have the right to our privacy. We don't envy the tourists, we want them to see the area, enjoy Manhattan and its surrounding, but in return, can we have some respect? This is our neighborhood 365 days a year. If we didn't love it and want it to stay beautiful we would probably not have lived here."
Please be aware that check in time is anytime after 4 PM. Previous guests have up to 12 PM (noon) to check out, then we need time to clean. In the event you may arrive earlier you are welcome to drop off your luggage after 12 PM and come back once the apartment is ready.

We offer accommodations/an apartment (a clean place to sleep) that is it! We work very hard to please everyone. Please remember:
- We are not a hotel and therefore do not provide soap and shampoos, you are staying in an apartment with problems that one can encounter in a house like things breaking down unexpectedly. We do not offer the service perfection of an hotel. Do not expect perfection. some people may not like the sheets, some people may not like the beds, some people may not like the decor, some people may think the air conditioning may be too loud etc...We cannot please everyone (unfortunately) this is alternative rental to an hotel and it is not perfect and this is why prices are discounted. If you are looking for hotel like accommodations these services are not for you.
- We are not a bed and breakfast: No food will be provided, sometimes past guest do leave non-perishable goods, you are welcome to use it.
- We are not a Chambre d'hotes: you will most likely not meet me, your host will welcome you to give you the keys and will be happy to help out in case you need anything but do not expect them to be at your service 24/7.
- We are not a concierge service: We do give out as much information as we can on transportation and places to visit, but we will not do outside research on entertainment tickets, or tourism planning, car rentals, etc…
You are responsible for the planning of your trip. If bus schedule change expectantly, we have no control over that and Port Authority has an information booth that is available for any help you need.
