My home is warm and welcoming and it will be your home from home as everyone who comes here is always invited to relax and enjoy the space. It's newly decorated and is totally self contained and secure. The double room sleeps two people comfortably. In the room there is a radio and remote controlled tv with free view. It's a quiet room and overlooks the gardens below.
There is a kitchen for guests to eat breakfast which I provide, ie bread for toasting, jam, marmalade and milk for tea and coffee. The kitchen overlooks really nice gardens.
I provide towels and a hair dryer so you can travel lighter! There is a European electric plug and there are also umbrellas for you to borrow!
There are 2 WC's and 1 bathroom with shower and bathroom which is shared.
There are attractive bars and restaurants in the immediate area and typical London pubs. You can take the local buses if you like to anywhere but if you wanted to walk, it's a pleasant 25-30 minutes to the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Trafalgar Square, Tate Britain etc. I am more than happy to help with any directions, guides or advice on where to go and what to do so you get the best out of your time here.
Although the check in and check out times are flexible they must be reasonable. Can everyone please let me know when you are arriving and departing as soon as you can as on rare occasions people may arrive on the same day that you are departing and so check in and check out times will vary. Don't worry, you will not be asked to check out before lunchtime and if no one is arriving that day you don't have to dash and you can leave your bags until you are ready to travel later in the day.
I look forward to making your stay a comfortable and enjoyable one while you're in London!
Your own room (which has tv/dvd, heater, desk and chair and WIFI)
Kitchen which is communal
Bathroom which is shared.
There is usually someone around to help you but you will always have phone contact if you need anything.
Diverse, close to centre, nice parks, quiet tree lined street, good cafés and local pubs,
Local buses run all night to and from the centre of London.
The heating comes on automatically in the morning and also in the evening. For the time in between, if you need it, there is a heater in your room.

For anyone coming to London and looking for a temporary, not too pricy place to stay, I recommend Lynn's place. The atmosphere is really homy - I was f. ex. greeted with a cup of traditional English tea. Unfortunately, I did not get to meet Lynn while I stayed there, but her friend and housemate Susan is just a lovely person who took her time to explain everything to me and give me recommendations on supermarkets etc. Thank you!
It was a really great holiday and I felt home with Lynn and Susan. Thanks to both of them ıt was a nice xmas and a wonderful time in London. I am sure that I'll go there again.
We enjoyed our stay atmost in London thanks to Lynn and her very nice and friendly room-mate Susan. I'd recommend Lynn's house everyone who wants to stay near London and in a quiet district; 10 minutes walk to public transport.. We'll come again for sure..

Best place ever in London. We really felt like "home". Our private room was clean, warm and comfortable. The place is really well connected!! I'm Thanks Lynn...hope to see you soon again :)
The location has great access for public transportation to and from central London. The bus stop (including an all-night bus) is three minute or less walk from the home and the Stockwell Tube (i.e. subway) is less than a five minute walk. Ideal for a first-time visitor to London. Do not miss the Post Office which is right across the street from the Stockwell Tube. Although I came prepared, the room has very handy guides and maps to all the tourist atttractions in London. I found the community quiet.
If you are searching for a beautiful and perfectly located room during your stay in london, you will find it at lynn`s place.
the room is very nice and lovingly decorated with art (the whole house is very charming).
from the hairdryer to the towel is all there. the breakfast is also included.
undergrounds victoria line (light blue) and northern line (black) are just 5 minutes away and bring you quick into central london. bus 88 (2 minutes away) with 24h service brings you to piccadilly circus. clapham is a 20 minutes walk away.
ok, you can`t lock the door of your room - for some people this might be a problem. but for me there was no reason not to trust.
i met lynn for only 5 minutes, but she seemed to be very nice. also her flatmate (who takes care about the guests) i din`t see very often. but if you are not having questions or need help, that should be ok.
The reservation was canceled 6 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Unfortunately we didn't meet Lynn, while our stay, but her friend, who welcomed us, was really nice. The room is clean, and there is everything we needed. For breakfast, you can choose what you like to eat, that's really nice :)
Most of the time walked to the center (it takes around 40 minutes), but Stockwell-station is just a 5 min. walk away.
Thanks Lynn, for the nice stay!

We have appreciated our stay in Lynn's home.
The location is very convenient. Close to Stockwell station, many shops around and the area is quiet.
We were like at home.
Unfortunately, Lynn was very busy and often outside. We couldn't have known her more. We hope to stay in touch.
We had a great stay in Lynn's house, the room is very nice, clean and large. We enjoyed the friendly and relaxed atmosphere and the nice talkings. Lynn was so helpful and so nice and gave us excellent turistics recommendations.
We would definitely recommend it!
