Our cool studio apartment is located in the upscale German Colony neighborhood bisected by Emek Refaim Street, an avenue lined with trendy shops, restaurants and cafes. Totally renovated and offers everything you need for your stay in Jerusalem.
Please do not use the instant booking option for stays starting on Saturday. Check in on Saturday is two hours after sundown. Thank you.

Interaction with Guests
It is our goal to provide our guests with the experience that they are looking forward to. Excluding Saturdays we are always available by phone or email for guest who have questions or need advice regarding their trip.
Many guests prefer to be left alone. We make sure to respect all guests' privacy. We will not come knocking on your door unless something is very urgent. Any maintenance that is needed will be pre-arranged 24 hours ahead of time.
We try to greet all guests personally. Sometimes this is not possible. In these cases other arrangements are made.
We do not live on site.
Located Just off of Emek Refaim St. in the famous German Colony. It is walking distance from the old city, historical land marks, shopping, theaters and much more.
Our unit is centrally located walking distance from many Historical sites and the Old city. In addition there is a bus stop across the street with buses to the central bus station, downtown, the mall and more. There are also an abundance of taxis. For details regarding transportation to and from the airport please contact me after making a reservation.

Well ahead of your visit, please let us know your anticipated arrival time. Let us know of changes immediately.
Refer to your confirmation email for the actual check-in and check-out times. We do our best to accommodate special requests but will neither chase out a visitor early nor allow a visitor into a dirty apartment.
We provide free parking. Please note that ninety percent of the time there is room in the parking lot but on occasion the lot is full. When this occurs, there is pay parking on the street during the day and parking is free at night.
There is no parking on Malal St.
With high demand for our apartment, we need help cleaning it and therefore require a $20 cleaning fee per stay. This cleaning fee helps us keep our daily rates reasonable. Whether you stay here one night or for an entire week, the cleaning fee remains the same.
We provide our guests with a smoke-free atmosphere. Third-hand smoke is a type of damage. Opening the windows does not help. Please respect this and do not smoke in the apartment.
Pets are not allowed. Some of our guests suffer from pet-allergies and we assure them that pets have not been in the apartment. Introducing pet dander into an apartment is a type of damage.
Parties are not allowed. We do make exceptions for very small parties but only with advance notice. You must have our consent in writing.
Our guests always notify us of damage and are, of course, more than willing to pay for the repairs.
Please help us make this endeavor worth our while by helping it stay profitable. Please turn off the air conditioning/heating, all lighting and all appliances when not in the apartment. (The a/c unit is very large and cools the apartment within minutes.) Thank you!

The one bedroom apartment was on the third floor so a few stairs to be negotiated. The apartment is newly rennovated and in good shape. There is even a small balcony. The bed was comfy and the kitchen well eqipped although we only made coffee. The location is fabulous with no end of cafes and restaurants in the area. We even managed to park our car off street out the back. Ma'ayan was very helpful and fiendly at all stages. Only criticism is that the bottom of the shower door did not reach the shower recess meaning that there was a small flood with each shower - the search for the perfect shower continues!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Maayan's flat for both the comfort and the great location. We were driving a rental car, and it was very convenient to park it right behind the building in the locked lot. Emek Refrain Street is lively, not touristy, and has a good variety of boutiques, coffee shops, bars, bookstore, and even a cinema. The bed was indeed comfortable with a fluffy comforter and good pillows. It was easy to contact Maayan, and my sister and I thoroughly enjoyed this quiet place of respite.
Everything about our experience with Mayaan and this studio was amazing. Mayaan was super quick to answer my questions in advance of booking and was very helpful once we arrived. The apartment is exactly as shown: sunny, clean, charming, modern, well appointed and perfectly situated in the middle of Emek Rafaim. It was exactly what we were looking for and exactly what was promised.
Fantastic place: great location in the middle of Emek Refaim, close to dozens of restaurants, shops, etc. Nice little kitchen with cooking utensils and appliances and a fridge. We were able to make half our meals there. Fantastic hot shower. Bed can be separated into two if necessary. We loved it. Felt like a home.
Clean charming studio flat in a fantastic location. It is one of two adjoining flats let out by the host - converted from one flat, but each with its own separate front door. The host was there to greet me and take my suitcase up all the stairs upon my arrival from the airport. A box full of cinnamon biscuits was left in the kitchen, and a card giving a 12% discount at the cool cafe on the corner - just a few meters away, where they sometimes have live music in the evening. The flat has a little balcony - great for eating breakfast. Views of treetops from one window, views of Jerusalem twinkling lights in the distance from the other window. The host respected privacy, but was available if I needed to ask him something, except during the Sabbath, and he would send a email or text warning when he was going to be unavailable.

My name is Maayan Levy. I am Canadian born and currently living in Jerusalem. I love travelling and have been to countries such as India, Nepal, the United States, Canada and all over Europe. My wife, Sarit, and I have been hosting travellers since 2008 and have recently gone professional. We are now the owners of a small property management company in Jerusalem called MyPlace.
