The Space

Comfortable apartment overlooking the bay of Santa Ponsa in Mallorca. South-facing terrace that you can enjoy all year round, to escape the heat or bask in the winter sunlight, contemplate yachts or stare at the stars. A 2-berth cabin for the kids and open living-room/galley make this a perfect land-based haven, with no need to take a dingy to beaches and restaurants! 15 mins to Palma. 360 days of sunshine.

Santa Ponsa is a great base from which to explore the rest of Mallorca, with easy access to the Tramuntana Mountain range (World Heritage Site) and not too far from Palma which connects to the beaches of the North and East of the island. It also boasts its own wide, sandy beach with safe swimming for kids and a wide choice of activities and restaurants. Winding around the coast to Costa de la Calma, the lounge lizards can find a private rock platform or smaller, more private beaches and crystalline water to explore with a mask and snorkel...

  • Me and my girlfriend stayed 10 nights at Sandy's place in August of 2012. Before we arrived we had good e-mail contact in which she told us a little bit more about Santa Ponsa and even proposed to pick us up from the airport (which she did!).

So when we arrived at the airport Sandy picked us up and drove us to the apartment. During the drive we got to know each other and we thought Sandy was really cool and full of joy!

Before we arrived at the apartment she showed us around Santa Ponsa. There is a quiet and nice beach only 10/15min walk away which was much more enjoyable and attractive than the big beach in Santa Ponsa. There are nice shops close to the apartment (bakery, supermarket, 2012 RX Lounge) so getting your fresh bread in the morning was not a problem.

Once we arrived at the apartment she showed us all the amenities (Dishwasher, washingmachine, fridge, wifi, oven etc.). We loved the big bed on the balcony which was a good place to cool down during the hottest times of the day.

When we left Sandy was there to say goodbye, we would definitely recommend this place to any couple that wants to get away on holiday!

  • We spend a really good vacation at Sandra's place.
The apartment is located in a quiet place, a bit further from the more noisy places further towards the beach of Santa Ponça.
We enjoyed the nice balcony with sofa and table for dining or resting in the evening. The apartment was clean, and Sandra left some towels for beach and showers, as well as sheets for the bed. WIFI was available, and working well. There is a nice swimming that can be used : it was not crowded, and was good for a cool swim before getting or coming to/from the beach.
Parking was not directly available, but we managed to park very easily either a few meters away or bit further with free parking places (only 2/3 minutes from the apartment). This was in August 2012.
Appartement is located approximately 15/20 minutes from Palma by freeway. This location was a good spot tho discover all beaches and nice places around the island.
There are a great number of shops around the apartment (bakery, grocery..), a supermart can also be found just 6 minutes driving at Santa Ponça.
We met Sandra at the beginning and the end of our stay : she was very welcoming, and provided us with a quick tour of the neighborhood. We thank her for letting us stay at her place. I would definelty recommend her place.
