Mariela's place is wonderfully located, secluded but easy to get public transport. it's next to the river and the huge gardens are beautifully kept. The cottage itself is very cosy and ideal place to relax after a day's sight seeing. Mariela was away when we stayed but Frank looked after us really well and nothing was too much for him. We would highly recommend this place.

This is a place that is accurately promoted as a lovely retreat with numerous gardens, trees, and a short walk from the Urubamba River. The breakfast option is not to be missed. Mariela has exceptionally good taste and a wonderful sense of humor.

Mariela and her husband were SO kind. I stayed at their cottage the night before leaving for the inca trail trek and I wish we could've stayed longer. They help me coordinate my transportation from the airport with a fabulous and very reasonably priced driver. The cottage is very snuggly and their property is so beautiful.

My husband and I had a wonderful week at Mariela's beautiful peaceful oasis. The place was quiet, romantic and charming, surrounded by a gorgeous lush garden with many places to relax and enjoy the ambience, and stone and forest paths to the rushing river below. It was a great base for our explorations, and a wonderful place to unwind when we were weary from our travels. We appreciated Mariela's help, advice, and connections to local restaurants and sights, and opportunities such as horseback riding with Giovanni. Delicious breakfasts too. Highly recommended.

What an amazing place and an amazing host. The house is so cozy, the gardens whimsical, and the surrounding mountains breathtaking. So sad we only stayed a night! Mariela was so helpful booking a driver, suggesting places to visit, and even helped us with a great hotel in Cusco. I want to come back and stay a month!

Such a beautiful, relaxing location! We wish we could have stayed longer. Mariela also helped set up transporation from the Cusco airport to her place as well as transportation to the various sites to see around the area, which was very helpful.

My husband and I stayed in the Cozy Cabin recently, and it was perfect. It has everything you need and sits on a very beautiful property. Mariela was out of town during our stay, but she still was in contact with us throughout the entire trip. Jose is the property manager and was more than wonderful. He is very kind, generous, and makes sure you have everything you need, which worked out for us when my husband had a very unexpected kidney stone in the middle of our trip! Jose set up the clinic visit, helped us with transportation, and generally cared for my husband and his well-being. As travelers, it is not easy to be in a foreign country and have a medical concern and I think those situations are where you see the differences between good and great hosts. Mariela and Jose are beyond GREAT as they embody the AirBnB mentality perfectly. We need more good people in the world, and it was a pleasure getting to know them! Stay here!
