Maybe you have wistful memories of cookies from grandmother’s oven, the old Studebaker, the whoosh of a long-ago train journey, the whir of a Singer sewing machine preparing for prom…I grew up in a Pasadena Bungalow as a child. When it came to planning an aesthetic for Erehwon, I felt that nostalgia would provide an important relief for our guests. I believe setting aside some time for memories elevates our mood, reminds us of the early times when we felt “protected.” In short, being able to look back with satisfaction is to live it all over again. Perfect for our times.

Great quiet place to stay nestled in a lot with mature trees. The cottage feels spacious. It it's close to the zoo and not far from the aquarium or MOSI. It has a full kitchen
My husband and two girls (ages 9&11) stayed at erewhon arts and crafts bungalow for the past week and had a very special time. The photos are an accurate depiction of the property which Henry has invested his time and love of history to keep it aligned with the historic nature of the neighborhood. I felt the neighborhood was safe and located very close to many excellent and trendy restaurants. Henry was a great source of knowledge and recommendations and takes care to make sure his guests needs are met. His website is worth reviewing and contains a lot of useful information and things to consider when staying in the bungalow. The two queen beds were extremely comfortable and the front porch and back deck were both great places to sit and relax. The trees and plants on the property are gorgeous! My youngest enjoyed visiting with his cat Thomas and we enjoyed chats with Henry who is well traveled with a love of the arts. Next time we stay in Tampa we will be here.
Thanks Lisa - Well, now that you all have spent a week in the 1920's you know why I believe modern life has a tendency to trap folks in cubicles, cars, cookie cutter Condos - flash animating us into a receptive state of mind for the corporate sponsor. So Erehwon is one of those now and then reminders of the beauty that presents itself when we turn off the information feeds and get away from the daily grind. So pleased to read your feedback. Tell Shaleigh Thomas sends his BEST "MEOW."
