Advertised rate is for 4 guests B&B in a two bedroom suite with private bathroom. A superior double bed in the first room (210sqft) and either two single beds or a queen double in the other room (200 sqft). The private luxury bathroom (72 sqft) is across the hall from these rooms.

All rooms are fitted with thick drapes, wool carpet and flat screen TV. They all open out onto sandstone paved patios and into the magnificent gardens.
There are fuffy bathrobes, quality furnishings and luxury linens in all rooms.
The beautiful home is centrally heated using wood sustainably grown on site.
You will be warmly welcomed by Lyn and Richard with afternoon tea and home baking. The full breakfast is prepared by Richard includes home baked bread, Lyn's home made jams, freshly made fruit salad, cereal, fruit juce, yoghurt, bacon egg mushroom and tomato.
Two beautifully furnished, 50sqm, sitting/lounge rooms, one with 58 inch plasma TV, the other with relaxing couches and cosy gas fire, plus numerous outdoor relaxation areas, are available for your use.
Enjoy the outdoor hot tub surrounded by beautiful mature gardens, relax in the country peace and tranquility.
Richlyn is six minutes drive from Lake Taupo 5 minutes from the Hilton with one of the best restaurants in NZ.
Use Richlyn Counry Homestead as a base to explore the myriad attractions of the local area and take day trips, 1hr to Rororua, 1.5hrs to Napier, 1hr to the Tongariro National Park/Tongariro alpine crossing and 1.5hrs to Waitomo glow worm caves.
Lyn, retired banker and Richard, retired firefighter are your friendly knowledgeable hosts, you will be welcomed as visiting friends, this will be your home from home while visiting Taupo. Pamper yourselves.
Lyn and Richard enjoy sharing with their guests the home and gardens that they have built and nurtured since starting with bare windswept grass land in 1990.
Guests are expected to relax, experience the friendly New Zealand hospitality and enjoy the peaceful garden surroundings. Treat other guests and the property with respect and pay for accidental damage. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate guests animals.
Lyn, originally from Scotland, a retired banker and Richard, born in Taupo, retired firefighter, electrician and general handyman, enjoy sharing their dream home and gardens.
