Do you want to cook yourselves, there are several supermarkets and small shops, selling fresh fish, meat and vegetables nearby. The lakes are 5 minutes walk from here and an area to relax or go jogging.
The metro station "Forum" is 5 minutes walk for the apartment, going straight from the airport. Parking in the streets costs 40 DKK per day. There are as well bus lines nearby, but why not just walk or rent a bike?
Late night parties, with loud music and behaviour is not accepted by neighbours. You can smoke in the garden, but no pets. Please leave the appartment, as you found it.
Anne Marie welcomed us in her place very warmly. She gave us indications about the elements in her home and where we were standing at Copenhagen.
She took enough time to explain about routes of public transportation and attractions in the area. She is a wonderful host. Made us feel great!
Anne Marie was on hand as promised to welcome us and introduce us to aspects of the home/apartment, and the locality. The area is a hop step and a jump from buses and trains to central locations and to airport. With lots of cafes and supermarket. We loved the apartment...beautiful, calm, quiet and with everything we could possibly need....kitchen so well appointed, bedroom gracious, and with garden to sit in (although we didn't use it as it turned out).
My partner and I spent a few days in Copenhagen recently and rented Anne-Marie's apartment for our stay. It as very nice - just the right size for 2 people. The apartment is very centrally located and still in a quiet area of the city. Everything we needed was there and Anne-Marie made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed breakfast in the tiny garden of the apartment.
We were only able to stay for one night of our stay. The house is sweet and just as advertised. Anne Marie is very sweet and made us feel at home. Unfortunately the reason we left was because the house smelled of cat or dog and my wife is allergic. I didn't see this on the site for this home, so we needed to make a change the next night.
Together with my wife we had a really great time staying at Anne-Marie's apartment during our 4-days trip to Copenhagen.
The flat is exactly as described and in fact the photos do not do it justice - it is spacious, cozy and more than enough for two people, with an extra perk of heated bathroom floors (especially pleasant on chilly days!).
The location was convenient and we were able to do all of our sightseeing just by taking a walk straight from the apartment. After the long days spent roaming around the city, it felt like we have a real home to go back to and rest.
The initial contact with Anne-Marie was very easy and prompt and she even agreed for us to move in earlier and check out later to help with our flight arrangements.
If you consider visiting Copenhagen, we definitely recommend Anne-Marie's place!
The apartment was very spacious with all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed the garden area for a glass of wine and dinner on our last night in Copenhagen when the weather was nice. It was great to have the kitchen available to make breakfast. The neighborhood is lovely and we walked to the train station and central Copenhagen (about 20 minutes) each day. Nearby Norrebro neighborhood is fun to explore with antique shops and Mikkeller and Friends bar. The only flaw is that the apartment smelled faintly of smoke upon arrival. Once in the apartment for a while it was not very noticeable. Host had a lot of informational brochures on hand that were helpful in choosing some of our sightseeing activities.
Our host was at the property when we arrived and was very welcoming, offering lots of useful information on the local area and transport. The property was exactly as described in the text and photographs. The neighbourhood feels safe, and is quiet, residential yet close enough to walk to Copenhagen railway station. It is well served for supermarkets, small cafes and public transport (bus and metro).
