Welcome to a cozy parisian studio in the 13th district, close to the 5th.
It is perfect for one person or a couple who want to spent a little more time in Paris, living an authentic Parisian lifestyle for a while.
Almost unbelievable but this building is from the 16th century, so it is very charming and situated in a quiet, small street.
With 30m2, ( 323 sqft), a big cosy double bed, a kitchen (fully equipped), a fold out dining table, a corner with armchairs, and a bathroom. Plenty of light in the whole apartment!
The price is all inclusive (wireless internet, towels, bed sheets, final cleaning, heating and electricity)
The studio is situated in the 5th floor without elevator, the house is about 400years old, so that is not surprising :)
If there is anything else you´d like to know, please get in touch.
Next to the apartment there is a self service laundry, a bakery, a supermarket, a butcher shop, and organic supermarket etc.
It is at 10 minutes walk to the famous Rue Mouffetard or to the Sorbonne.
10 minutes by bus to the cathedral Notre Dame.
15 min. to the beautiful parc Jardin de Luxembourg.
and again a 10 minute walk to the cool and lively quartier Buttes au Cailles, one of the nicest areas in Paris with good restaurants, and nice bars.
The subway stop Glaciere on line 6 is a 4min. walk away.
After the reservation is accepted, I will email you all necessary information how to get to the apartment (from airports or train stations), and will also request some travel details from you to plan the checkin and checkout. Please feel free to ask for any additional information you would need.
CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT:
I am very flexible. You can arrive late at night and leave early in the morning, this will not be a problem. I will just ask you to provide your flight/train details after the booking is completed so I can make arrangements and make sure I will be able to welcome you.
for very early checkins or very late checkouts i will always try to make that possible, but if the place is booked by other guests it depends on their schedules. If anything is overlapping the checkin/out time would be noon like in a hotel but it should always be possible to leave/drop the bags at least if the other guests don´t mind.
The host is responsible for insurance of the property ONLY – All other insurance, being accidents - inside or outside the apartment - health, cancellations and / or belongings is the guest's responsibility.

Quartier chaleureux.
Justin is a gracious and experienced manager of a group of places to rent/bnb/time-share. He is quick to respond to questions and requests.
The place itself is not much different from the photos, bright and lovely during the day, and full of character and charm. The size is small and cozy, like most apartments in Paris, but with a sense of spaciousness. The place resides near the top of an old building, up a spiral staircase, with no elevator. Of note are the slanting roof, which may welcome your head more often than you would like, and the handle-less door. The insulation and the adjustable electric heating keep the place warm in the cold months. The beds are comfortable and soft. The kitchen has an electric stove with two heating elements and enough utensils to make a decent meal.
The neighborhood is great. It is mostly quiet and peaceful. Metro and other types of transportation are close-by. An organic grocery store and another grocery store open for longer hours are even closer. We did not explore much in the area, ourselves, but a map search reveals several places of interest.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this lovely place and recommend it highly.
I stayed at Justins studio to attend a conference close by. I wanted to be close to the conference, so I did not care to much about location and since I was at the apartment itself basically only for sleeping I did not care to much about the apartment itself.
I was pleasantly surprised by both. The studio is bigger than I expected from the pictures and very nice overall.
The area is a great combination of nice quiet residential neighbourhood with very nice restaurants and bars close by (do not miss the ethiopian restaurant right around the corner!)
Justin was a great host, also. He was very flexible to help me schedule my arrival and departure and offered all the help one could need.
I would definitely stay here again!
We had a great stay in Justin's apartment. The apartment is very clean, nicely decorated, exactly like the pictures. It is located in a very quiet, less touristic neighborhood, but at the same time not far from many attractions in Paris. It has two Metro stations, 5-7 minutes away and two grocery stores, a few pattisseries, Pharmacies nearby. The only think to be aware is that it is on the 5th floor without a lift. I'm not young myself and after a few days, I did not feel the climb anymore. Justin was very responsive to all our needs.
The reviews of this apartment are absolutely accurate! I spent just over two weeks in Paris trying to improve my French and could not have been happier. It is conveniently close to various metro stops, but I much preferred the half hour walk to the river (Notre Dame area) via Rue Mouffetard.
The apartment itself was perfectly equipped for my stay, and Justin could not have been more helpful in sending me information beforehand and meeting me to welcome me to my temporary home.
I would both recommend this place to a friend as well as stay there again in the future.
This was our first visit to Paris and we had a wonderful experience. Justin met us at the apartment to settle us in and gave us a very useful introduction to the city and the immediate locale. The apartment was perfect for the two of us and we were very relaxed and comfortable staying there. The location was a very good base for exploring Paris on foot or by Metro. As we only had a week, we'd be more than happy to return to the apartment to continue discovering the city. Locally, the shops provided all the provisions we needed and there is a wide choice of restaurants. Thanks again, Justin.

Bonjour! Have been living in Paris for six years now and have been enjoying it a lot!
I´m a passionate host on Airbnb, and only happy when my guests are happy. I love to share my knowledge and appreciation and love for Paris with my guests.
I will always do everything I can to make your stay as perfect and as comfortable as possible.
A while ago I teamed up with Sara, a young American, to be even more available for our guests at all times.
We are very flexible time wise, so me or my partner Sara will always meet you in person when you arrive and welcome you and share local knowledge with you.
I´m managing these apartments for their individual owners and I carefully select them and only take on places I would be happy to arrive at myself if I would be the guest.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Paris soon!
