Romantic Stone Cottage For Two. Sea view from double bed! Ideal secluded location on South coast.

The space
Your cottage is light and spacious looking out over the ocean with its garden rising up to the forest behind. A tasteful and intimate space. The roof and furniture were all made from local wood and the stones for the thick walls were quarried nearby and shaped by hand.

Awake to birdsong, look up at the beautiful wooden ceiling and then out of the window to the ocean.

The bedroom door opens onto a terrace just perfect for breakfast in the morning sun.
Two other terraces one at the front with ocean views and one accessed from the kitchen provide the choice of sun or shade all day.

You may choose to sunbathe in the garden and listen to the birds while looking out over the Atlantic or drive down to the natural pool by Sâo Mateus harbour and swim, its just 5 minutes away.
There are walks into the forest from the garden. You may drive to town, Madalena or Lajes or further afield and explore.

Finally refresh yourself in the light spacious bathroom before preparing your meal in the well equipped kitchen or visit one of the islands many bars and restaurants.
