This unique space has a charm provided by panoramic views and an open plan design. An interesting home which contrasts rustic characteristics in an urban setting near Precita Park on a quiet block
Open, spacious and light. Panoramic views from all levels of the house. Outside decking and charming, secluded back yard. Close to Precita Park, the Mission district, Bart and Muni transportation.
This is a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom accommodation. The main living area is open plan , spacious and light. A private deck is accessible from the kitchen with panoramic views of San Francisco and a peek of the golden gate bridge. The interior is charming with stained glass windows, a cathedral ceiling in the living room with surrounding windows to emphasize the sense of space. A lovely place to read, relax and watch the sunset. The bathroom is large with claw foot bathtub and attached shower head. Two of the three bedrooms are upstairs. The rustic master bedroom has original wood beams, wood panelling on the walls and windows that reach to the peak of the ceiling. The second bedroom upstairs is the sunniest and warmest room in the house and looks onto the hill/front of the house. The third bedroom is on the main level of the home. All bedrooms have a sense of seclusion and privacy enhanced by wooden shutters. All real beds have futon mattresses.
Bernal heights is one of the treasures of San Francisco. An eclectic and diverse community. Bernal Hill is one of the most open spaces in the city. Winding up and down Bernal hill are community gardens, staircases and unexpected landscaped areas. Plenty of beautiful walks. Cortland street is the main street with a supermarket/banks/restaurants/cafes. Closer to the house is Precita Park with cafes and local grocery stores. A safe and quiet neighborhood yet within walking distance of the thriving mission district.
Guests have exclusive use of the private deck with access to the garden. The garage contains the laundry facilities, which are shared, and provides additional storage space if required.
Interaction with Guests
I'm available to my guests for any accommodation needs or issues. I'm happy to chat about amenities, transportation and local activities.
The sunny north slope of Bernal Hill is a desirable location due to the panoramic views, public transportation, freeway access and eclectic nature of the community. Bernal Heights has wide open spaces, community gardens, great walks and parks yet remains distinctively urban and diverse.
Mission and 24th BART is 15 minute walk from the house. Muni transportation easily accessible. Easy access to 101 and 280 Freeways.

Anita's house is absolutely gorgeous, the pictures really don't do it justice. As you walk in to the open concept living/dining area on the first floor you can see the most beautiful view of the whole of San Francsico through the back windows. Though its a short walk to our fav neighbourhood in the city, the mission, we spent a lot of time at home on the back porch absorbing the lovely scenery. The check in was easy, the kitchen is filled with lots of basic amenities for cooking at home, and the bedrooms were comfortable and clean. Would love to rent this house again, thanks Anita!
Anita was there when we arrived, gave a quick tour and then handed us the keys. The house is fantastic. The pictures don't do it justice. The neighborhood is great. Had a comfortable stay.
We had a great experience with Anita. She was very helpful when needed and was always pleasant to talk to.
The house is incredible and I'd recommend it to anyone coming to San Francisco. My friends and I were obsessed with the view from the balcony and would always relax outside watching over the city. The shower takes some getting used to, but other than that the house is very nice to live in.
While the location is a bit of a ways to public transit like BART, it was certainly manageable. If you love Mexican food, the proximity to 24th street is game changing, as the Mexican restaurant scene is fantastic (esp. el Farolito, a staple of my friends and I's diet over the summer).
Great views over the city from the balcony, dining area & master bedroom.
Spacious, characterful accommodation
Hillside Supper Club restaurant (highly recommended) within 10-12 mins walk
No shower - except if you are sitting in the bath!
No washing machine or TV
Car parking spaces in local area are keenly fought over
Difficulty finding nearby shops to buy basics such as coffee, milk etc
Beds on floor rather than divans - so nowhere to sit while getting dressed
very nice house, with a grat view... we can see the top of Golden Gate bridge from the living room !
we were 5 and we have a lot of space. Easy to park the car and very quiet even if we were very close from US 101 road.
Anita, was great, and we had a very nice stay.
We had a great stay at Anita's place! The house was spacious and fresh, and the terrace offered a fantastic view of the city. Anita was very friendly and helpful and made us feel comfortable staying there.
If you like to sleep on hard ground, then this residence is for you. Nice location, great view from the deck. Just make sure drain from the tub is working and make sure your 150 USD cleaning fee is used what it's supposed to be for.
