Looking for a different experience for your short or long term stay in Nairobi? Come stay in this 1970's house share, with all its charm and own front and back yards! Have a BBQ, tan in your bikini, chill with friends! Fun definitely included.....
This is a great old 1970's style Kenyan home, which has been upgraded to suit this shared accommodation space. It is a 2 storey, 4 bedroom home, with awesome front and back yards, private, on a quiet street, in a great neighbourhood with all amenities closeby. I have decorated it with bright colours hoping to remind you that you are in fact in Africa! Come try us out!
The house is shared, and has a fully equipped kitchen, all linens, and furnishings. There are bikes for you to ride (and repair....ha!), grassy back and front yards, a barbecue, outdoor furniture and umbrella, covered outdoor sitting area. You can't go wrong!
Interaction with Guests
I am available at all times, I live not too far away. I will help answer any questions you may have, and share as much info or contacts that you may need.
Kilimani is an old neighbourhood which has recently become super central because of the awesome new Junction Mall just up the road, about 15 minutes walk. The area is still quite green, and the proximity to Ngong road means you have access to all parts of Nairobi on matatu (bus) within a few minutes. The rugby fields are closeby, and a bunch of gyms, if that's your thing.
There are matatus (buses) just 2 minutes walk away, the house offers bicycles for your use, and you can always walk to anywhere from here, as it is a safe area. You are a 5min drive to Junction Mall, 15min drive to Downtown and Westlands and you can even hop onto Ngong Road and make a trip to Karen for the day, about 30min away!
Other Things to Note
If anything breaks or is damaged during your stay, you are expected to replace it at your own cost. Please treat the space as you would your own home.
You are welcome to smoke, but preferably outside the house. If you do decide to have a pet, you must clear it with the landlord before, and cats are not allowed. You are free to use the bikes but you must repair them if they break and maintain them in good repair.
Kenya is my home. Montreal is my heart. Food is my love. I host with my Italian roots, welcoming, warm, no expenses spared....like you're family. And my crazy Quebecois love of life, so your stay with me will most likely include some element of fun!
Meeting new people is like breathing air for me, it inspires me, makes me smile and teaches me to be a better person. The world is there for us to live it and love it, and so why not take the chance and do just that!
