It seems clear that ralf is not keeping his apt longer so I'm not too worried about reviewing this honestly as I don't reckon he has more guests coming. First off, the apt was not like the photos. I imagine he has moved and was just allowing the last of the oktoberfest folks to stay so thanks for not cancelling. We appreciate it. However yes there was no dining table, no plants. No homelike touches. No soul. The couch was changed and while new was super uncomfortable (and we were drinking a lot so almost anything would have been comfortable ). While the apt says it's great for a couple, I guess I missed the part where you pay twenty euro a night extra for having more than one guest. Ralf allowed us to pay cash, but really all that meant was that he gave us an extra set of towels. The couch bed "for couples" had one single sheet and two separate single duvets (for americans, note this is the size for dorm room beds, and smaller than duvets for a twin bed). Also, having lived in Europe for 5 years of my life, I know that the luxuries of American hotels etc differ greatly, BUT as an airbnb host myself, I come to expect the things I offer my guests. I always have shampoo, conditioner, coffee, towels etc ready to go, and all the nicest linens and softest toilet paper etc. I'm sure ralf has his nice things at his new place. The extra towel was slightly larger than a hand towel. It only wrapped half way around my body and I'm not a big girl. The tp was harder than my paper towels at home. And luckily I brought toiletries bc he was Def lacking. Arg and I should have looked bc no hair dryer either. Oh, and the overhead shower is broken so you have to use one hand to hold a hand held shower over you the whole time which means shaving isn't really possible unless you bathe. And I wasn't going to draw a bath in the tub based on its appearance. Ralf is a super nice guy and I'm sure really well meaning. I loved that he had a charger for our phone (another thing I have at my own airbnb spot and super appreciate). And his Internet was very fast --- also super appreciate it. Think we got his place right before he was moving out but were very pleased just to have a roof over our heads bc oktoberfest takes most of the hotel and airbnbs. Thanks for a place to lay our heads. Cheers and prost

Ralf was a good host. He met us at 7pm on the first day to provide us with the keys. The property was central and within walking distance of Oktoberfest. The property was well maintained and met expectations.

I was trying to get to Munich at the last minute to go to Oktoberfest. Rolf's place was available and reasonably priced. He was able to take my reservation with very short notice. The place is roomy and the balcony is nice. I was able to walk to Oktoberfest in under 30 minutes. The location is great and includes WiFi and TV. I would definitely recommend.

Ralf was a wonderful host. He was quick to answer any questions. He had arranged for his friend to pick us up from airport, and when his friend cancelled the last minute, he picked us up himself. The apartment was very clean, in a convenient location -a few minutes walk to the U6 metro and the bus stop. 20-30 minutes walk to the Theresienwiese/Oktoberfest. Very safe neighborhood. He has changed the sofa bed (not pictured), which was comfortable enough. He provided sheets, blankets, pilloes, towels, 2in1 shampoo and toilet paper. There is a fridge in the flat, and a washer/drier which worked just fine. He has a brita water filter, which is helpful as well. The pictures include a dining table and office desk, which were not in the flat. He stated he has been living in another apt, so perhaps that explains the old pictures. There are great bakeries/coffee shops nearby, pharmacies, and supermarkets. There are some restaurants nearby as well. The metro/bus will take you to all of the major attractions/connect you to other lines as well. Easy access to taxis via the MyTaxi app. Internet/wifi provided, and also cable/satellite tv. We really enjoyed the location and proximity to transportation and the center of the city. The flat was clean and comfortable.I would recommend Ralf and this property for your next trip to Munich.

Ralf's apartment was in a good location, about a 7 minute walk to the subway. There are some nice restaurants and shops about a block and a half away. The sofa bed was a bit hard, and we didn't sleep that well. During our check in, Ralf had the towels in the dryer, but there was an error on the machine. He came over at night and tried to fix the issue, but couldn't get the towels to dry. He didn't have any other towels in the apartment. We didn't end up getting towels until noon the next day, which delayed our trip into the city. It was disappointing because that was the only full day we had to explore Munich before we had to leave, and we couldn't get started until after we'd had showers, which was around 13:00.

Ralf was an extremely good and welcoming host. Apartment: I didn't spend too much time in the apartment, but it was clean and well presented. Location: The apartment is situated close to the train station and underground, so getting around Munich was fairly easy and trouble free (10 mins to central station). Would I stay again? Yes definitely.
