This retro building is of 1960s art deco architecture. It's not the Trump Tower or Ritz Carlton, but it has historic relevance and its unique design is unrivaled in the U.S. Various renovations have been made in recent years such as enhanced landscaping with more scheduled for future years such as new windows and balconies, so balconies are decorative only until the HOA decides what to do with them in the next 2-3 years.
The building is minutes from the warm, turquoise waters and white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, Fort DeSoto Park, and St. Pete Beach which was chosen by "Dr. Beach" as one of America's top beaches.
This tastefully furnished, 1/1 private and highly affordable condo will suit your budget. It'll be your home away from home because it's equipped with all the comforts and conveniences needed for a memorable Florida vacation. Numerous activities are available nearby--enjoy the area's walking and biking trails, fishing, swimming, golfing, boating, sight-seeing trips, nightlife, casino cruises, sunset cruises, watercraft rentals, and more. Hop on board the Suncoast Beach Trolley at the Don Cesar, the famous "Pink Palace" on St. Pete Beach recently named "American's Best Historic Hotel," and spend the day exploring and touring Florida's Gulf beaches. Enjoy the "catch of the day" at one of the many beachfront restaurants or take a break from the sun and sand and meander through the unique shops and many tourist attractions up and down our beautiful coastline such as St. John's Pass. If you desire theme park adventures, Busch Gardens is a 45 minute drive east while Walt Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios are less than 2 hours away. Shop, dine, and explore downtown St. Petersburg during your stay. Sundial, the city’s newest architectural wonder in the heart of downtown, will mesmerize you with its unique collection of shops, restaurants, spas, nightlife, and entertainment. The place “to be” in downtown St. Pete is Beach Drive. Overflowing culture and arts, the unrivaled Chihuly Collection is just one of many diverse galleries along Beach Drive. The excellent dining at one of the many upscale restaurants is a must. St. Pete’s picturesque waterfront is also home to the world-class Dali Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, Mahaffey Theater, Florida Orchestra, and over 1,000 special events and festivals each year. For visiting sports fans, the choices abound--Tropicana Field, the home of the Tampa Bay Rays, is a 15 minute drive. Just north on Interstate 275 is Raymond James Stadium and Amalie Arena, home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tampa Bay Lightning. The Tampa Bay area is also home to the Rowdies of the North American Soccer League, minor league baseball, and MLB Spring Training. So, pack your bags because it's vacation time which around here means fun in the sun!

Interaction with guests
Hi, I'm Maria, the property manager for several condos in this building and your host. I'm very friendly with extensive overseas travel experiences, so I will assist as much as possible to make guests feel comfortable and give them a quality vacation. I was a European tour guide based in Germany for two years. Having been born in southern Slovakia, I still speak Hungarian and Slovakian pretty well in addition to English. Places I've visited include most of Europe, parts of Russia, East Africa, most of the Caribbean, and parts of Central and South Africa. More adventures are planned for the future! My hobbies include reading, writing, cycling, walking on the beach, learning new things, fitness and healthy living, my pets, spending time with friends, and traveling.
Other things to note
Free guest parking outside of the condo building is available for visitors with a car. You can also park for free on the street in front of the building if all guest spots in the parking lot are occupied.
If you need to arrive after 11 p.m., please message me before booking to confirm that I will be available to accommodate late arrivals. Guests are expected to be respectfully quiet for residents in the building which means no loud parties or noises at any time--people live here year-round and go to work and send their kids to school. Please tidy up condo and throw out garbage regularly. Please wash all your used dishes, pots, and pans. When not in the condo, please turn off lights and ceiling fans and turn up the AC to conserve electricity. Condo to be used only for legal purposes. Do not bring strangers or extra guests into the condo who have not been disclosed to me and Airbnb prior to booking for security reasons.

Hello, I'm Maria, your on-site property manager since I live in this building too and can assist you as needed. I'm an optimistic, cheerful, flexible, easy-going, helpful person with a positive life outlook who prefers guests with the same attitude. Pessimistic perfectionists who are impossible to please because they search for negatives are not welcome in any of the six condos we manage in this building.
My partners and I work very hard to give guests a friendly, memorable experience at reasonable, affordable prices. This unique, 1960s building overlooks lush woods for a secluded resort feel. The building has attractive landscaping and fitness center, huge pool, picnic area, and reserved free parking.
I speak Hungarian and Slovakian fairly well. I grew up mainly in Michigan and later, lived and worked in Kuwait and Germany for several years. I've visited most of Europe and parts of Central and South America, Africa, and many Caribbean islands. In addition to traveling abroad, I enjoy meeting people from other nations and cultures. My hobbies are reading, writing, traveling, cycling, kayaking, hiking, being outdoors in beautiful nature, and spending time with close friends and of course, with my dear pets. I live an interesting, happy life in beautiful St. Petersburg which I call home for the time being. I look forward to meeting you!
