Please contact me about long-term pricing since it's different from the daily rate.

The retro Wave building is of historic, 1960s art deco architecture. It's not the Trump Tower or Ritz Carlton, but it has historic relevance and its unique design wave design is unrivaled in the U.S. Various renovations have been made in recent years such as enhanced landscaping with more to come in future years such as new windows and balconies. The building is minutes from the warm, turquoise waters and white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, Fort DeSoto Park, and St. Pete Beach which was chosen by "Dr. Beach" as one of America's top beaches.

This tastefully furnished, 1/1 private and highly affordable condo will suit your budget. It'll be your home away from home because it's equipped with all the comforts and conveniences needed for a memorable Florida vacation. Numerous activities are available nearby--enjoy the area's walking and biking trails, fishing, swimming, golfing, boating, sight-seeing trips, nightlife, casino cruises, sunset cruises, watercraft rentals, and more. Hop on board the Suncoast Beach Trolley at the Don Cesar, the famous "Pink Palace" on St. Pete Beach recently named "American's Best Historic Hotel," and spend the day exploring and touring Florida's Gulf beaches. Enjoy the "catch of the day" at one of the many beachfront restaurants or take a break from the sun and sand and meander through the unique shops and many tourist attractions up and down our beautiful coastline such as St. John's Pass. If you desire theme park adventures, Busch Gardens is a 45 minute drive east while Walt Disney World, Sea World, and Universal Studios are less than 2 hours away. Shop, dine, and explore downtown St. Petersburg during your stay. Sundial, the city’s newest architectural wonder in the heart of downtown, will mesmerize you with its unique collection of shops, restaurants, spas, nightlife, and entertainment. The place “to be” in downtown St. Pete is Beach Drive. Overflowing culture and arts, the unrivaled Chihuly Collection is just one of many diverse galleries along Beach Drive. The excellent dining at one of the many upscale restaurants is a must. St. Pete’s picturesque waterfront is also home to the world-class Dali Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, Mahaffey Theater, Florida Orchestra, and over 1,000 special events and festivals each year. For visiting sports fans, the choices abound--Tropicana Field, the home of the Tampa Bay Rays, is a 15 minute drive. Just north on Interstate 275 is Raymond James Stadium and Amalie Arena, home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tampa Bay Lightning. The Tampa Bay area is also home to the Rowdies of the North American Soccer League, minor league baseball, and MLB Spring Training. So, pack your bags because it's vacation time which around here means fun in the sun!

No smokers or other pets here, please. Guests get a beautiful, tropical-style private bedroom with a queen bed, and they have access to the rest of the condo including modern kitchen, living/dining areas, bathroom, and all condo building amenities. Interaction with guests

Hi, I'm Maria, the property manager for several condos in this building and your host. I'm very friendly with extensive overseas travel experiences, so I will assist as much as possible to make guests feel comfortable and give them a quality vacation. Thank you! Because of our schedules which resulted us all being in the condo at different times, I don't think either of you were able to meet my dear kitties Mitzy and Don! They spend most of their time in my room, being with "mom" (me) or waiting for mom to get home!

You need to be aware that she has 2 cats and that there is an awful liter box smell. There also is a dog that barks below you on the 3rd floor. Maria is very nice. A much longer orientation than needed. If you need details to how to turn light in and off and how to use bedroom ceiling fan and how the chains to fan and light need than you are good. We just needed to check in and get some sleep. Because we had such a hard time with the odor of the cat boxes we could not stay there again.

Response from Maria:
Let's be clear, Kathleen--people who book my condo should be able to read which you either cannot do or are too lazy to do since I make it abundantly clear multiple times in the condo description here on Airbnb that I have 2 cats. The litter (not liter) box is normal for a household with cats although the box is outside on the balcony most of the time. Madam, you didn't show up on your arrival day because your teenaged daughter got lost on the beach and you had to call the police and spend the night in a worried frenzy trying to locate her. That's not normal behavior for an 18 year old, in my opinion. And since you were a no-show on arrival day, you just assumed I would be around the next day when, indeed, I had other duties outside of the building until mid-afternoon. Your "hard time" was because you had a sleepless night when you arrived on Day 2 of your booking, your teenager was in a foul and disrespectful mood, and you realized that your mother/daughter bonding trip was a disaster from the start. Don't take your problems out on me and my pets. Wow, for a "Christian" woman who lauds the Lord and Jesus and the blessings you have nonstop, you're a total hypocrite.

Location is nice and close to the beach. It is very quiet and calm. But the building architecture is a little old styled which makes it a little scary at nights. Maria is a good host though.

Hello, I'm Maria, your on-site property manager since I live in this building too and can assist you as needed. I'm an optimistic, cheerful, flexible, easy-going, helpful person with a positive life outlook who prefers guests with the same attitude. Negative perfectionists who are impossible to please are not welcome in any of the six condos we manage in this building.

My partners and I work very hard to give guests a friendly, memorable experience at reasonable, affordable prices. This unique building overlooks lush woods for a secluded resort feel. It is a circa 1962 structure called The Wave of Brazilian art deco architecture which will be reviewed soon for Historic Landmark designation by the city. The building has been well renovated with landscaping, fitness center, pool area, picnic area, and other amenities since the 2008 real estate bust with future improvements to come to restore it to its former glory as a "sapphire gem" along Tampa Bay.

I speak Hungarian and Slovakian fairly well. I grew up mainly in Michigan and later, lived and worked in Kuwait and Germany for several years. I've visited most of Europe and parts of Central and South America, Africa, and many Caribbean islands. In addition to traveling abroad, I enjoy meeting people from other nations and cultures. My hobbies are reading, writing,, traveling, cycling, kayaking, hiking, being outdoors in beautiful nature, and spending time with close friends and of course, my dear pets. I live an interesting, happy life in beautiful St. Petersburg which I now call home. I look forward to meeting you!
