This lakefront cottage is an ideal getaway, and the fishing is GREAT!

Relax and take in the view of Little Elk Lake and surrounding farmland. You may also catch a glimpse or our resident bald eagle, blue herons or beavers! The lake is small (42 acres) so no motor boats are allowed, keeping it nice and quiet. Fishermen tout the wide-mouth bass, perch, grouper and more. There are so many ways to enjoy the outdoors--swim from the raft, lounge on the shore or enjoy the fire pit at night.

The space
• The "great room" has a picture window looking out over the lake. There is also a flat-screened "smart" t.v. with basic dish service.
• There is a master bedroom with a queen bed and pull-out couch.
• The second bedroom is more of a sleeping alcove than a bedroom (see diagram) but has a comfortable full-sized bed.
• Additional sleeping is in the loft over the great room which has 2 twin-sized mattresses and 2 additional sleeping mats. The loft ceiling is low and looks out over the living room. Perfect for kids--a bit cramped for adults.
• The cottage is best suited for 2 couples and 3 or 4 kids because it is small with an open layout. See cottage diagram for more info.
• Child friendly amenities: Travel crib, booster seat.
• The kitchen is old (think “Brady Bunch”), but clean and has everything needed for most cooking as well as some basic staples.
• Propane grill and a charcoal smoker.
