This is our second time staying at Katty's place. It's a great house, in a quiet residential neighbourhood, but with ready access to Juanita Beach and grocery etc. stores. The only downside in the recent heat wave was the lack of central air (though there was one window unit and a central fan) and the fact that we didn't have a chance to meet Katty in person. But it's a wonderful place with room for my parents, and my kids. BBQ worked well, and we enjoyed sitting outside on the back deck. Very convenient to Bellevue and Bothell, and not far to downtown Seattle. We'd definitely recommend this house to anyone and will be back on our next trip.
I booked this house for my family when they were visiting Seattle, and they loved it! It was extremely conveniently located, with bus stops, restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. The area also seemed very safe and the neighbors were friendly.
The house itself was really clean, with plenty of room for 4 adults. It was cosy and comfortable, and we liked the fireplace in the kitchen! The kitchen also was stocked with basics, so we didn't have to buy things like sugar, salt or cooking oil, which was really convenient. The deck in the back was great and we regret not having time to have a BBQ.
The price was reasonable, especially considering that it's at lower rates than some hotels, and you really do get the comforts of home staying in a furnished house with a full kitchen.
Katty was a great host. While we didn't meet in person, her instructions for checking in and getting the keys were clear, and we got to the house with no issues at all. She was also quick to respond to questions we had on check-out.
If we have other friends or family coming to visit us and they can't stay at our house, I would recommend this place for them!

The house was inviting when we arrived; clean, warm, lights on and well written instructions. Very nice home and centrally located. We had our granddaughters with us and the bunk beds were a hit.
The house was lovely, the neighborhood clean and quiet. We rented to accommodate family visiting for the holidays, and it was nicely decorated with a small tree and other Christmas decorations. Loved the spacious kitchen for preparing food for a large family gathering. The kitchen was adequately furnished with basic supplies for every-day, but we did need to take a lot of supplies from home for our needs. The set-up of the house was also ideal for a family gathering with buffet-style meal. We thought that the lack of satellite or cable television would be a problem, but the basic TV was more than adequate for our needs. Trash was, perhaps, our biggest challenge, as there is a large recycle bin for "clean paper products only", and a small bin for all other trash, that only accommodates one large bag of garbage. This might be okay for a normal stay, but not for a stay of one week, when entertaining guests. Fortunately, we live close-by, and were able to take trash home to dispose of it. Do make sure to take your own toiletries! There is hand-soap supplied, and a few odds and ends of shampoos, etc., but only one tiny bottle of body wash, and no bar soap, so must supply your own shower/bathing supplies. We also had to supplement toilet tissue and paper towels, but that may have been because we had a lot of visitors, and did a lot of cooking and entertaining.
We had a lovely stay at Katty's place in Seattle. She was a great host who walked us through the house when we arrived. The house was plenty big enough for 7 of us. There was a baby crib and baby high chair which was a great bonus. We arrived in time for freezing weather, but the house was lovely and warm. The kitchen was quite well set up, and the ensuite to the master was spacious.
