Linda's cabin is a gem. It is marketed as rustic, but it is a lovely rustic. The location is superb - walking distance to downtown Evergreen and the lake, but still remote enough to provide peace and quiet and sense of being away-from-it-all.
Linda is an amazing host. Her communication before the stay was great. She definitely puts a lot of pride in the cabin and this sharing economy model. Just a great experience.
The Rustic Cabin was fantastic and fit our needs. For the price, we really couldn't ask for anything more: its location was superb, and Evergreen, in general, was wonderful. The host, Linda, was great with communication leading up to the reservation date, and with preparing us for our time there. We would absolutely seek to reserve this cabin again in the future.
I stayed at Lin's Cabin for a week. It is in a great location, only about 30 minutes from Denver. This was perfect as a home base if you want to have access to the city and have a shorter driving distance to hiking and other outdoors activities. Evergreen itself is an awesome "smaller" town by east coast standards, with a good handful of restaurants within 5 minutes (10 minutes walking).
The cabin exceeded my expectations significantly. Aside from the lack of drywall (which doesn't matter at all) it is closer to an efficiency apartment, with close to a full kitchen. This allowed me to save money by making a good number of my meals. The bed was super comfy.
Overall, this is an excellent place to stay and Lin is an excellent host. I would definitely recommend it.
While in the area for a wedding in Conifer, we decided to opt out of a hotel stay and rent Linda's cabin. With just a short drive to Conifer, Morrison, and Denver, the location is perfect. The views were great, and the cabin was clean and homey. It was everything Linda described it to be.
We met Linda on our last day, and found her to be as sweet and pleasant as her wonderful cabin. We'll for sure be visiting again!
Linda greeted us and made us feel welcome. We loved our little cabin for 3 days and we were very happy to have found it. It was exactly what we were looking for, quaint, comfortable, quiet, close to downtown. We were able to cook in the small kitchen which made our stay even more affordable. Actually, we were sorry we had to leave. Loved, it!

About the Host, Linda
I am an active, happy and healthy senior who loves the outdoors. I stayed in an Airbnb condo in Tucson a few winters ago and loved how this works. Decided to try to do temporary rentals with my guest cabin through Airbnb. I wish I had known about this when I traveled to Amsterdam and London. My favorite travel vacations include biking, hiking and/or kayaking. I have kayaked the Green River in Utah which was a favorite trip but my absolute favorite was rafting the Grand Canyon -- no Airbnb there! I am looking forward to more traveling and using Airbnb rentals in the future.
