Linda was the most gracious host. Her cabin was EXACTLY as the pictures looked and was cozy and lovely. I was able to pull a pretty great signal from her wifi (which was important to me), the beds were comfortable and the views were amazing. While I was there, Linda let be borrow a bike for my stay so I could ride into town (even tho it's definitely walkable too). In addition, she also provided me with a small gas grill and a cooler as well! Linda was so kind and sweet and even brought over some after sun care gel when she noticed I was burnt from a long walk in the gorgeous hiking trails that are near her home. Overall, the cabin was private (and Linda respects your privacy), serene and exceeded my expectations. I would love to stay again.
I did not get a chance to meet Linda but the cabin was wonderful! Such a great experience and everything I could have asked for, and at a very reasonable price. I stayed 3 nights and wish I could have stayed longer. Very cool to watch wildlife while sitting by the window ( deer, fox, chipmunks). Great view of the mountains from the bedroom window. The cabin looks small from the outside but is quite spacious inside and has all the necessities. The town of evergreen has a nice little downtown area which is close to the cabin. Java Groove has excellent breakfast. Easy access to Denver. Tons of parks nearby.
My husband and I stayed in Linda's cabin for a week. It was clean and inviting when we arrived. Linda was great to communicate with, she sent an email with detailed instructions for each component of the cabin. We didn't get a chance to meet her since she was on a vacation of her own, but she made sure we were settled in and did not have any questions by calling us the next day. We were so pleased with the location of the cabin, it is so close to the town center, yet it's isolated enough that we felt like we had plenty of privacy. We loved sitting out on the deck with our laptops and enjoying the fresh air and trees. The small bed near the bay window was fantastic to relax in and read a book. The kitchen was small but useful, and Linda had everything we needed to prepare meals. I recommend checking out the all the great restaurants in the city center. My husband and I had breakfast nearly every morning at Java Groove Cafe, they have great coffee and food!! This was our first experience with airbnb and it could not have gone any better. We really lucked out getting to stay in Linda's cabin. We absolutely did not want to leave but unfortunately, I was only able to get a week off of work, lol. Thanks again Linda for everything, we will definitely be back!!
We loved staying in the cabin. It was exactly as advertised and more comfortable than we expected. Only one minute outside of downtown Evergreen, it was incredibly convenient. Linda was a helpful host, helping us get settled in on our first day there. We would - make that will - definitely stay again when we're back in Evergreen.
The directions to find this Gem were easy and arrival was wonderful. Very clean and comfortable and great views! Linda is the perfect Host, very informative reliable and hospitalble. The accomodations were extremely comfortable. We cooked breakfast every morning before we ventured out to explore. It was fun to see some wild life outside the window and hear the Elk's mating calls. This Remodeled Rustic old Mountain cabin is wonderful, Shower, flush toiliet, running water, comfortable beds, little refrigerator, micro wave, hot plates, toaster oven, wood heater and electric to keep the temp even. All in all it was a great place to stay..>Thank you Linda
We enjoyed our week at the cabin! It was the perfect size for our needs. It was a little tricky cooking full meals in the kitchen, but we succeeded. The bay window was perfect for relaxing with a good book or playing cards.
Great little cabin in the woods, but close enough to walk to town. As advertised, we had everything needed to enjoy a quite and relaxing weekend. Lin provided excellent information and assistance for our stay.
Linda's little cabin was perfect & quaint and very comfortable. It's exactly the kind of place we'd want to stay in a little mountain town. Easy to get to coming from the Denver airport even though it's about an hour drive. Linda's directions were very helpful & we will definitely be back from TX to get our mountain cabin fix again as soon as we can!
Wow!! Linda and the rustic cabing far exceeded our expectations. The cabin has the most beautiful views and was perfect for my husband and myself. It is close and convenient to Evergreen Lake and Red Rocks. We enjoyed our first concert there last week (Norah Jones) and it was unbelievable. Linda is wonderful. I was surprised to find out that we are from the same home town. She was busy doing more and more improvements to both cabins. My husband and I are looking into moving to the Evergreen area, so we would love to rent the larger home for a more extended period of time. Thank you Linda!
Linda's cabin is unbelievably peaceful and cozy. I wish we could have stayed a month instead of two nights! The front porch is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a good book. We really enjoyed the lake and downtown area. It is very close to Red Rocks, which is hands down the most beautiful and amazing place to see a concert. (We saw CSN--and absolutely loved it) We will definitely be back for another stay. Thank you LInda!!:)
