About this listing
This two-story 1 bedroom unit is nestled at elevation of 2000 ft on the slopes of Haleakala Mnt on Maui Hawaii. The stunning pastoral views include both mountain and ocean. A fifteen minute ride from Kahului airport makes this location a great one!
Very light and airy bedroom with ten windows on four sides with spectacular mountain and ocean views. Bamboo floors.
Brese was welcoming and had some great suggestions of things to do in the area and on the island. The house is comfortable, well furnished, and has great views of the countryside and the top of Haleakala (weather permitting!). We really enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere of the upcountry--it was so relaxing, we completely lost track of the days at one point! A great place to stay and appreciate the side of Hawaii that's not all about the beach.
Brese was the best host!!! She made my family and I feel very welcomed and I would definately stay there again when I return to Maui.
It is a nice two floors house! The main room on second floor is beautiful and has plenty of sunlight during the day. It is a little bit tight for four people but the location is great! If you want to see the sunrise at the top, this place is really close to it, so you can save some time for sleep! Brese is a nice host. She offered us information about supermarket and restaurants near by and also sent a box of chocolate as a gift. Recommend to those who wish to visit the national park and this area!
Great place in beautiful Upcountry Maui. Peaceful and charming and welcoming!
Brese is very respectful of your privacy. The two story had everything you could think of needing and packed with amenities. The views were amazing, you could watch sunrise and sunset from the upstairs. The neighborhood was centrally located and a great location for the National Park. The local area farmer's market was a nice treat.
Brese was fantastic. - very welcoming and friendly. She even left a box of chocolates for us (thank you, Brese!).
House is very clean and well taken care of. We could find absolutely everything we needed - from laundry to salt, pepper and olive oil to coffee machine to blankets to take to Haleakala summit (Brese was kind enough to let us take them with us to the summit even after we checked out). It's cozy and I wish we spent more time there. It may be a bit tight for for 4 adults (we were two couples), but Brese made sure there was a single bed and an additional mattress for two adults. Bedroom, however, is really nice comfortable.
Thanks for a very nice stay, Brese!
It was so nice of you to take me at the last minute! I felt very welcome. Your place is very thoughtful -- you put a lot of care into making it comfortable, and clean. You have thought of everything a guest might need or want. I especially liked the added touches from your garden.
Mahalo nui loa for all your kokua!
