A sunny, spacious, and quiet space in the heart of San Francisco -- minutes away from downtown, the Marina, Japantown, Union Square, and Hayes Valley. We love hosting people from all over the world and look forward to sharing our home and city with you!

The Space

Share a four-bedroom condo with four 20-something-year olds in the heart of San Francisco, minutes away by public transit to Downtown, SoMa, the Mission, and much more.

Your couch (1 person)/air mattress (2 people) will be in our spacious living room and you'll be sharing the bathroom downstairs with one other person and a shower with three others. You'll have access to the entire downstairs (~400 sq ft) and have a dining table you can use as a desk too. You'll also have access to a great roof that makes the perfect spot for an afternoon read.

Quiet complex with easily accessible bus lines (20 minutes walk to Union Square (15 minutes by bus); 20 minutes by bus to the Mission District; 20 minutes by bus to the SoMa Caltrain station; 15 minute walk to Civic Station BART). Very easy street parking all around the block if you're driving, including free 24 hour parking right across the street!

Come and spend a few days with us and explore the city by the bay!

Interaction with Guests

Varies -- we love getting to know our guests (and jam together on occasion) (And have been honored/lucky enough to meet so many wonderful people from all over the world) but also understand that our guests appreciate their privacy and time alone after a day of meetings/exploring SF.

The Neighborhood

You'll be in the heart of SF -- with almost any neighborhood a short bus/bike ride or walk away. Head down to Polk Street to check out some local bars or to Japantown and enjoy some fresh made mochi. Hop on a bus to SoMa or walk to the mid-Market corridor to see the city's growing tech presence.

Getting around

Public transit is readily available right across the street and within two blocks of our house.

  • This couch in SF was just as cozy and welcoming as the one my cousin left behind when she decided to blog her way around the world. Joe and Pei made my stay thoroughly enjoyable and the location is perched atop a hill with a view of South SF in the mornings. Clean and safe if you don't mind sleeping in a living room.

  • Staying here was a great decision. The roommates who live here gave good city tips, were cool to chat with, and were quiet at night. Would definitely stay again!

  • I only got to meet Wendy briefly, but that was enough to know that the reviews were accurate. She was a kind hostess who, even as she rushed to make her own flight, took the time to ensure I had easy travels and was settled in the space.

I got to hand out with Joe on my first night and Pei on my second one. Both of them were kind, smart and interesting. I felt like I was staying with friends.

The accommodations were perfect. I walked to a nice vegetarian Thai restaurant (5 mins), Philz coffee (5 mins), Peet's coffee (5 mins), Code for America (20 mins), and CalTrain (40 mins). I also walked from the Bart station at Civic Center/UN Plaza (20 mins) and enjoyed the park across the street. I didn't have time to get to Golden Gate park, but it was only two miles away. The Opera House, Symphony and many other attractions were along my walking paths, too.

Inside, there was plenty of what I needed: space in the refrigerator for my leftovers and green juices, a shower with good water pressure and temperature, outlets to charge all of my gadgets, etc. If I get back to SF in the near future, I would stay here again and take advantage of the roof deck and many other treats of the city. I'm so glad I did this!

  • Wendy's place was nice and quiet. Great location for hoping on a bus going to any area in San Francisco. As Wendy states its pretty ghetto walking form the BART stations, but not an issue for me or atleast a couple walking it. Couch was comfortable and had good space in the living room. I would recommend staying here.

  • Wendy is great, I was welcomed and given complete access to the place, I didn't get to spend time with her or others while in SF because had to leave really early every day and always returned pretty late. But at every moment I felt very comfortable, the place is just like it is listed (its even more spacious than it looks). But most of all, it was my first time using airbnb and Wendy and her friends give the brand an awesome name.

  • Wendy's place was very nice, would absolutely stay there again! I was in town for a conference and really only needed a place to sleep, but the place was nice, clean, and worked great as a crash pad. Wendy and her housemates are clearly experienced at this – they know what you're going to need, and have it ready to go.

  • Awesome couch to crash on!
Which is exactly what I did. Wendy made it happen for me last minute and my only regret was that I couldn't spend more time with the house mates as I was swamped with the conference I was attending. Great host and accommodations!
