Falansterio was one of the first public living in San Juan area. It was inaugurated on November 7, 1937. It is, since 1975 a private condominium but it’s Art Deco architecture and concrete walls have turned it an iconic building in the Old San Juan islet.
You will be staying in an architectonic jewel, walking distance to a lot of places of interest and very close to everything!

The space
Second floor apartment, spacious and bright living room, kitchen with everything you’ll need, master bedroom Art Deco style: full comfy bed, closet space, iron board and AC you’ll probably won’t need.

Second room with a Day Bed, two twin mattress and AC.

Shower with all the essentials.

You’ll have high speed internet, TV with Netflix, Hulu and Disney Plus. Beach chairs, beach accessories, portable speakers, board games, etc… everything you’ll need to assure you’ll have a great time.
Live like a local, eat like a local. You’ll find bar and restaurant recommendations (including ours 🫶🏼)

Free parking on the street all around the complex. You can enter through all the gates.

Other things to note
Puerta de Tierra is an awesome neighborhood. You will be walking distance to everything! Escambrón Beach, Parque Luis Munoz Marin and Distrito T-Mobile only a 15 minute walk. You can ride on scooters and the trip will be easier and more fun (you can find scooters all around). Restaurants, Bars, Markets, Bakery’s, Laundromats… all 5 minutes away. You can walk or ride to Old City, El Morro is only 15 min walk. Condado and Condado Beach also 15 minutes away!

I had always dreamt to have an apartment in El Falansterio. Every since I was little and lived in Old San Juan I looked at those concrete walls and wondered what the apartment looked like on the inside.

I am more than happy to share my dream apartment with you, please take good care of it an it’s surroundings. This is still my dream apartment and my escape and peaceful place.. the peace you will feel here will make you feel at home ❤️

Take a walk on the interior patio, look at the people, go up the terrace on a sunset.. Walk along Calle San Agustin, see all the people, the places, the buildings. Embrace it, you will be in love.
