Cozy Cottage was more than I expected. It is a home away from home. It was very comfortable. Location was great as it was very close to where I needed to be (which was NYFA LA and Warner Brothers). Will definitely come back.

Jane is a very responsive host. Our shower had some issues while we were there and she got a plumber out within 24 hours. The cottage is very cozy and in a great location. There was a massive heatwave during our stay so it could get a little warm inside - but there's not much you can do about that when the temperature is 20° above normal. We very much enjoyed the brief history of the cottage we got from Jane. I highly encourage other visitors to ask her about previous tenants. Thank you for giving us a home away from home while we were in LA.

The cottage is very cute and cozy and the pictures are accurate. I just realised in a hurry we forgot to sign in and say thanks! in the guest list notebook. We did send her a note via the airbnb app and followed the instructions for the keys. It was quite hot in LA when we visited(I would expect summers here are like this?) and the a/c unit was attached to the living room which made us use the sofa bed in the hall to sleep. It was not the most comfy bed and was not firm enough. I guess during winter times, sleeping in the bedroom would be a better option (in a real bed). The other thing that was a bit of a bummer was the shower's water pressure. NBD over all. The cottage was clean and we left it as well and the house is in a nice residential location just off the freeway. Jane stopped by the first evening we arrived and was very warm and communicative throughout. We came in a bit late and she gave us precise directions. A big Thank you! She suggested a few things to do around town as well. We like the place and would probably would love to stay during the cooler months :) next time we visit LA. Thanks a ton, Jane!

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cottage. It was private, quiet, and peaceful, and you definitely can't beat the location. More details below. PROS: - Very private. We hardly saw anyone at all. - Great location, just minutes from Downtown Burbank, and easy access to all freeways as well as the studios. - The parking spot is ideal and made that aspect of our visit stress free. - The amenities - The Cottage was VERY well stocked with extra sheets and towels, basic shampoo needs, paper goods, teas and coffee, oatmeal, and creamer. - All of the bowls/utensils/pots/pans looked clean and we were able to find everything we needed to cook the eggs we bought for breakfast. - Spacious, private backyard. - Very comfortable bed. NEUTRAL: - The sun room, or the back porch through which you enter (it has the green desk) isn't completely private/closed in that the door leading in from the outside is glass and doesn't have a curtain. This door is in the backyard (which is fenced and accessed only via a locked gate) so no one should be outside that door uninvited anyway. - The AC is in the living room/by the breakfast nook. We were there during a heatwave with temperatures over 100, and the place was certainly comfortable, but the bedroom never really got cold. - The overhead fan in the bedroom causes the picture over the bed to rock back and forth and bang against the wall. We initially questioned whether something was dripping somewhere, but once we figured out what it was it was easy to ignore/sleep through. CONS: - The water pressure in the shower was quite low. I have long hair, and at times I questioned whether all of the shampoo/conditioner had been rinsed out. - Whenever the toilet was flushed, there was an annoying whistling that could be heard throughout the entire place for the next 30-60 seconds. The same whistle happened while the sinks were running as well. As the bathroom is right next to the bed, this meant waking everyone up whenever it was used. (Jane was aware of this issue and was having a plumber look at it.) If we were to return to Burbank and had the same needs, we would look to stay at the Cozy Cottage again.

Jane's cottage was such an amazing place to stay in while in LA. Around every corner of the cottage we found little details that showed how much care she put into the space. She was quick to respond, kind, and truly a host worthy of being a Super Host. Jane's cottage will definitely be our go-to Los Angeles accommodation!
