We love Bronte for its proximity to both the city and harbour, while being literally two minutes from the beach and one of the most beautiful coastal walks in the world. There are so many amazing restaurants and cafes, from organic to tapas to fine dining. And the best coffee! There's shopping at Bondi Junction, bike riding at Centennial park, outdoor cinemas in the summer (and indoor at Bondi Junction). There's even an ice rink on Bondi Beach in the Winter Festival! Bronte is hard to beat.
Take the famous Bondi to Bronte coastal walk, and you will arrive at Bondi Beach in only 20 minutes.
A few metres from our property are regular buses to Bondi and Clovelly beaches (5-10 minutes away), and the famous shopping mecca of Bondi Junction (7 minutes). At Bondi Junction you will find trains that will take you to the centre of Sydney (about 15 minutes)
Wow. Had such a lovely stay. Felt nothing but welcome and relaxed the whole time. Great brekkie. Comfortable bed. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone who wants a friendly stay that's super close to Bronte and Tamarama beach.
Staying at Kristine's beautiful house in Bronte was wonderful. She and Sonu are amazing hosts and made us feel welcome and at home. The location is perfect- only 2 minutes from the beaches and with many busses to explore Sydney. We wish we could have stayed longer and we are going to miss the homemade breakfasts.
From the moment we entered the garden of Kristine and Sonu's b&b we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. Kristine and Sonu have created a little oasis in their backyard providing a beautiful, soft ambiance. The hosts (K and S) were friendly and relaxed which immediately put us at ease and made us feel 'at home'. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Only 1 night - but so impressive!
Bed was comfortable and cozy, bathroom nearby.
Breakfast wirh selfmade passionfruit jam...lecker!
Kristine and Sonu are very friendly and helpful people, caring about everything I needed.
This home is a little paradise, which I only can recommend.
We were made to feel very welcome. The accommodation was as described, and the location was ideal.
Kristine and Sonu's place was wonderful. It's so close to the beach, but also very quiet and secluded. The house is lovely, with interesting and colourful artwork throughout.
We loved the breakfast, especially the homemade granola and fruit salad.
We felt very welcome and comfortable and would definitely stay again!

I've lived in Sydney for a long time, though I was born in Norway. I seem to have both the sea and mountain cabins in my blood, because I'm now living between the two! I met my partner Sonu in my travels a few years ago, and we now divide our time between our home at Bronte Beach, and the Javanese teak Joglo cabin we help manage in the mountains of Bali. Sonu is Indian Hindu, who spent 10 years running an Indian restaurant in Israel, so between us we are a bit of a multicultural stew. We also have multi cultural children who love water - beaches, pools, and the fish that swim in the ponds in Bali.
