All about Carol’s place

The Garden Apartment is a quiet relaxing place to land after a busy day hiking in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park which surrounds Heritage Farms. There is plenty of room for 4 adults or a family. There is a large bedroom which features a queen size bed. Off the living/ dining area is curtained sleeping alcove with a 4 poster full size bed. The living area has a large sandstone wood burning fireplace. The out door patio has a sitting area and a picnic table . A fire ring is next to the patio.

The space
Heritage Farms is a 5 generation 170 year old farm surrounded by the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. We are a working Christmas Tree farm . We are home to Fairy Days fairy festival and The Peninsula Flea summer flea markets. Pumpkin Pandemonium is our Fall festival weekends in October. And of course, in December we offer fresh cut and precut Christmas trees.
We are located near Boston Mills/ Brandywine Ski resorts, Blossom Music Center ,many National Park hike and bike trails and much more.

I've lived here on the farm all my life. Sharing it's beauty and peacefulness with others is a passion for me. We host many festivals, family reunions and workshops here as well as camping among the pines during the summer. Christmas is extra special because we are a Christmas tree farm. I love to work outdoors so running a farm is perfect. The dirtier my hands are the happier I am. My life's loves are my husband, our 3 rescue dogs and 2 cats, spending time with my Mexican family in Celaya, Guanajuato, traveling to see our exchange students, spending time with friends and family, gardening, hiking, reading a good scifi series and working with dog rescue. At the end of the day I like watch the sunset from one of our camping shelters while I enjoy a glass of wine. Be kind to one another.

George and I live here in the farmhouse . We try to greet each guest when they arrive and be sure they have our cell number in case they need anything.
