Michelle was a wonderful, spirited host. Her efficiency is perfectly located and very charming. Thank you for the great visit!
Our stay at Michelle's was perfect and exactly what we could have hoped for for our thanksgiving weekend in Charleston. The room is small but completely functional and we didn't ever feel like we were bumping into eachother. The bed that folds into the wall was super easy to use and extremely comfortable. We were right in the middle of the peninsula and we walked EVERYWHERE! We were able to walk the entire peninsula with no issues. There are so many great restaurants nearby and I was able to go on a gorgeous run down to Battery park without any issues. Michelle had tea, coffee, and fresh fruit available to us which was a huge plus. The mini kitchen set up with the refrigerator, sink, and dishware was perfect for our 3 day stay- we were able to have snacks and drinks available whenever we didn't feel like eating out. Michelle was extremely flexible with our arrival and departure times and her and her boys were so sweet and friendly! Kevin and I loved charleston and I think our accommodations really made the trip that much better- we will definitely be staying again!!
our experience at Michelles european style efficiency was great. Michelle was very welcoming and informative. the location was perfect for walking all over Charleston. we would recommend her rental to friends, and may even go back ourselves.
What a weekend we had in Charleston! Michelle's European Efficiency is absolutely the way to go when visiting Charleston. The space was charming and came equipped with everything. We could not have hand picked a better location to call home for the weekend (there is parking!) and we were walking distance to everything! Michelle and her boys literally welcomed us with open arms & espresso. We have a German Sheppard service dog named Macho that travels with us and Michelle made us feel at ease and right at home with him. She gave us a few extra tennis balls to throw around their yard (which is too cool). Her boys were great and helped carry our bags up to our room, such gentleman. Michelle's wonderful home has such charm and character. If you are looking to add a local special touch to your trip, we HIGHLY recommend staying here, you will leave with a smile. We have already recommended it to friends and can not wait to come back for another adventure! Thank You Michelle!
I had an fantastic stay here! Michelle and her family were really great hosts, and she welcomed me when I arrived and made sure I had everything I needed. She stocked the room with city maps and guide books to help me explore and find my way around. The room was AWESOME and really comfortable, and what a treat it was to stay in such a beautiful old house with a huge porch. The neighborhood and location was perfect, it was so easy to walk around and explore. It was just a couple blocks from restaurants, cafes, and shops on King and Meeting Streets. I would definitely stay here again and I couldn't imagine a better place for a solo traveler or couple to stay in Charleston.
Michelle is such a warm and lovely host. She made my girlfriend and I feel right at home by welcoming us with two espressos when we arrived. The location is great for walking around in the historic district. It's a cozy place that we'd definitely recommend for others visiting the area! Thanks, Michelle!
Michelle made us feel VERY welcome. We arrived quite late at night and she was awake and eager to greet us and show us around. She had local maps and sightseeing brochures available for us, as well as her own personal experiences and recommendations.
The accommodations are exactly as described and clean and comfortable. The location is PERFECT. We are walkers and we loved that we could walk to so many of the places we wanted to see. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a wonderful visit to Charleston.
Thank-you to Michelle and her sons who made us feel so comfortable!
Charleston SC is a beautiful city with plenty to do and see and of course you will not go hungry with the exploding culinary scene. Growing up here I have definitely seen a few changes yet many things remain the same. Experience the blue skies, pluff mud, the gorgeous blooms and the breath taking architecture. Looking forward to your visit!
