Response from Eugene:

Hi Jessica. Thanks for your thorough and honest feedback. And I apologise for the problems you experienced. I'm disappointed however that this is the first time I'm hearing about it. I would have preferred if you'd let me know there was a problem immediately, so that I had a chance to fix it for you. It would not have been a problem for us to replace any item for you within a couple of hours. All of our bed linens and towels are professionally laundered after each guest, so I'll be speaking to our supplier to ensure they are fully drying them every time. To address your issues about cleanliness; every surface in the apartment is cleaned, hoovered and polished after every guest however it would be unfeasible to inspect every item in the apartment inventory every time. So some items will slip through the net occasionally. I apologise that you found some oil on the handle of a pot. Again, this could have been very easily resolved if you had let me know at the time. Regarding the shower, I'll look at the drain and see if there is a blockage that is causing a problem. Honest feedback is essential in order for us to grow and provide better service to our guests and I welcome it openly. But if you don't let me know there is a problem until after you've left, there is nothing I can do to make it right for you.
