Great location! Eugene was very helpful with recommendations and prompt with every reply... Seamless checkin/ checkout. Thank you!
Great place to stay! Blocks from the Latin Quarter for great food and Eyre Sq. Perfect for 2 people. Everything was clean and just as expected.
A great accomodation in Galway : very central and at a walkable distance of any center of interest. The flat is very clean and similar to its description. Everything is well tought and easy to use... You'll feel very quickly at home.
Eugene left us many great recommandation and good insider tips to fully enjoy what Galway has to offer. Thanks to him, we had a very nice stay in Galway.
I would therefore highly recommand this accomdation.
I made the first contact by SMS on the 15th of june, just to make sure that everything was OK ! Eugene answered with a welcoming SMS. Just before our arrival, Eugene sent a mail to explain how to have the keys ( I learnt a new word in english, I didn't know what a lockbox was !).
In the appartment, we found a book to explain everything about the house and surroundings.
We had some exchanges of SMS, very friendly, but we have a regret not to have met Eugene at all.
The appartment was as it was described on the site, very clean and modern, everything you need, and in the heart of the town, 5 minutes walk from the main square and of the shop street.
We discovered as well a new thing : an electric shower to have hot water directly by a specific installation .. never seen before !
And further more we were very lucky we had a very sunny days all along the 6 days we stayed ! Very nice holidays 2015 !
Flat was in a great location to soak up all that Galway has to offer. It is fully equipped with everything you would need to self-cater, though also very close to popular Galway restaurants.
Eugene took a hands off approach to hosting and left the keys for us which meant we did not have to rush to Galway to check in as we were travelling from Dingle that day and wanted to drive slowly and see some sights on the way. We never met Eugene, but this was not a problem as he was quick to respond to our messages and assured us he was around if we needed anything.
Car park was close by which was good as we were driving. Galway itself is fairly small so day trips to the surrounding areas are a must - the flat came with a lot of reading material with suggested activities.
Overall the flat was comfortable and well equipped - we would definitely recommend staying here.
We absolutely loved staying at Eugene's Galway City Center listing. The apartment was perfect and had everything we needed. Eugene has a great folder which details restaurants (and anything else you need) in the city which was greatly helpful. The apartment is in perfect proximity to the city center and was a fantastic place to stay. Arrival and departure were easy and Eugene was quick to answer any questions we had and was very helpful.
We had a lovely stay in Eugene's flat. It was located in a great spot, close to everything, yet nestled away from the noisier part after the bars close. The flat was plenty big for two people and was very comfortable.
There were an assortment of beverages in the fridge and a ton of tour guide books in case you forgot yours or wanted to visit a new place. The flat guide was helpful while we were there as well and we appreciated having and using the washer and dryer.
Getting the keys and departing were effortless and quick and communicating with Eugene was very quick and pleasant.
We would stay here again for sure the next time we are in Galway.

About the Host, Eugene
I'm an out-going, entrepreneurial type. I've always got some hair-brained idea on my mind! I'm a qualified biomedical engineer but hospitality and food/drink are passions of mine. I love travelling, discovering new cities and meeting new people, so I've worked in hospitality since leaving college, adding property and holiday letting into the mix since July 2013.
I practice Bikram yoga for fitness and sanity, but I balance it out with a healthy affection for red wine. :)The engineer in me is always looking for something new to learn, so my interests are varied and change often.
I fall more and more in love with Galway each year. The food scene here is vibrant and exciting, the arts are everywhere and the atmosphere is laid back and friendly.
I've lived here all my life, so I'm more than happy to help you with any questions you may have about the city or surrounding area.
My life motto: Carpe Diem
My family has been letting property for over 30 years so we know a thing or two about making people feel welcome and comfortable.
I take a hands-off approach to hosting. I'll be in touch before you arrive to ensure you know where you're going. When you arrive, you'll be able to collect the keys using instructions that I'll send you. Of course, I'm available if you have any questions during your stay.
