Eugene was a fantastic host! We needed to be ready for our friend's wedding in Galway by noon and Eugene let us into the apartment way before our scheduled check in time! Not only that, but the studio flat is fantastic. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is literally in the heart of town. I highly recommend Eugene as a host and his studio flat!
Me and a a friend stayed at this apartment for 2 nights and couldn't fault it. The space was bigger than expected and the facilities were excellent. There were basics like shampoo and a hair dryer but also lots of added extras like coffee, tea, fizzy drinks etc. There were lots of kitchen facilities for cooking and everything was very clean. The only issue we had was with the shower when it stopped working but after we gave Eugene a call he quickly called a plumber to fix it so it wasn't a problem. He then brought us a bottle of wine to say sorry for any inconvenience which was greatly appreciated. The location of the apartment was excellent. It is very central to shops, pubs, restaurants and clubs. We used some of Eugene's recommendations which we found very useful. Eugene was a great host and we would definitely stay here again if visiting Galway.
My husband and I had a good stay in Eugene's flat. Eugene was super prompt with his communication and very welcoming. His recommendations for local sights and restaurants are thorough and spot on! We had everything we needed. Best of all, the location is fantastic - most of the shops and restaurants you'd want to check out are literally around the corner. The place was a little smaller than what we expected from the pictures but being just two of us it wasn't a big deal.
Great studio apartment right in the center of everything! Nicely decorated, included linens, dishes, and everything we could have needed. The guest book had great suggestions and useful info. We had a great time!
I can absolutely recommend Eugene's space. A superb spot in the city, lovely beds, a very handy visitor's guide. Basically all facilities you'll need are available in a relatively small space.
Eugene was very helpful. We loved looking through his recommendations of things to see and places to eat in the city...he had great recommendations!
Eugene's flat is in the perfect location to explore Galway. We walked everywhere and it was convenient to the Latin Quarter, the Salthill Prom and all of the pubs and restaurants you could want. Parking was also very easy and there are several options close by that range in price. Eugene was also a great host! He provided so much information about what to do in the area and recommendations for eating, music pubs and activities around Galway. We weren't used to the Ireland humidity and definitely felt it in the apartment, but Eugene was very helpful and offered to bring in a dehumidifier if we needed it. Overall, a great place to stay to explore Galway for a few days!

About the Host, Eugene
I'm an out-going, entrepreneurial type. I've always got some hair-brained idea on my mind! I'm a qualified biomedical engineer but hospitality and food/drink are passions of mine. I love travelling, discovering new cities and meeting new people, so I've worked in hospitality since leaving college, adding property and holiday letting into the mix since July 2013.
I practice Bikram yoga for fitness and sanity, but I balance it out with a healthy affection for red wine. :)The engineer in me is always looking for something new to learn, so my interests are varied and change often.
I fall more and more in love with Galway each year. The food scene here is vibrant and exciting, the arts are everywhere and the atmosphere is laid back and friendly.
I've lived here all my life, so I'm more than happy to help you with any questions you may have about the city or surrounding area.
My life motto: Carpe Diem
My family has been letting property for over 30 years so we know a thing or two about making people feel welcome and comfortable.
I take a hands-off approach to hosting. I'll be in touch before you arrive to ensure you know where you're going. When you arrive, you'll be able to collect the keys using instructions that I'll send you. Of course, I'm available if you have any questions during your stay.
