The space
Tiny Earth Cabin is situated on a sixty-acre parcel of privately owned land in the small town of Canterbury, NH. In case you have forgotten something the Country Store in Canterbury Center is just a couple minutes away or available en route.

A quick overview of Tiny Cabin:

1) 120 volt electric power
2) Indoor 5 gallon carboy of fresh water inside and one outside for dish washing.
3) Two sailboat canopy’s for rainy days cooking and fire pit protection.
4) A composting outside loo about 50’ distant and well iight for night use.
5) A double side electric Waffle maker with cabin batter, if desired, then bring your own milk and eggs.

Distances:
The driveway is 2,300’ long and 350’ in elevation.
The trail from where you’ll park is 900’ long.
There are a few marked woods trails for “Forest Bathing” (Look that up,) It’s an ancient Chinese practice while seeking inhaled forest biomes for better health. The book is here too.

Why bother to come here then?

1) While Tiny is a Mere Cabin it also could be described as a Refuge for the chaotic outside rapidly disappearing world of Nature’s bounty from which is still preserved here for your well desired enjoyment.

2) Numerous close Micros, Historical architectural venues - Shaker Village - and close hiking opportunities.

3) And most of All : To Relax, Recover, Remember how Our lives used to be, and to help prepare a whole new mostly Adaptive climate change necessity of taking a survey of what to do next.

Thank you all for choosing Tiny Cabin, Chance`

Where you’ll be

Canterbury, New Hampshire, United States

Tho the cabin is secluded your short drive to Concord (the State Capital) can offer numerous social, artistic and entertainment venues to enjoy.

From C’bury to Manchester is about a 50 minute drive and The Currier Museum of Art is a must if you have time to go there.

Historic Shaker Village is also located in C’bury and is a major destination for cultural/historically curious visitors.

If visits here are Winter oriented then numerous ski tours and snow machines are welcomed about the area and here.

Bring your pets if desired but remember that the floor space is small.
Emus are fine as well but must be stabbed outside or in one of my exterior studios.
Have a pack Lama too perhaps?

About Tiny Earth Cabin and my own life’s perspective: First of all Thank you for checking us out here and to arrive open-minded to gain the opportunity of experiencing the embrace of Nature for a day or two and that being one of total solitude while discarding the common stresses of normal life so thoroughly. Seldom found within the common American landscape; here lies a unique “European-like remote mountain hut” and accessible via 900’ long winding trail (rather gnarly like) as your first introduction to having left the struggles of living within a nuts civilization far behind. “Sanctuary” might suffice as a first thought while treading along the mossy path as a plank bridge spans an intermittent brook of which a Building Inspector could have trouble with sans your own balance. Tiny Cabin has long forgone it’s roof placed Solar panels due to the pine forest shading and LED lighting devices are now the standard means of illumination and 120 volt AC power is also outside and in for cell phone charging and the Bluetooth speaker for your iTunes. Deep Well water is piped down as well and primarily used for hot water seasonal showers. So why would you choose such a nearly “off grid” site to spend “Folding money” - old NH speak - as your chosen destination to re-compose and to court total isolation as your first choice of vacating city life. My own experiences of having created this rather odd combination of woodsy elements for visiting guests are here expressed: For the past forty-nine-years I have intermittently been associated with CU Boulder in the Canadian Arctic in the pursuit of Climate Change research and where early-on most scientific researchers were anticipating a Global Cooling event within the near future.which was soon revised. Alas all present Earth science evidence is predicting a certain total global melt down as we are all now aware of and the single most important word to learn for even The Present is the one of having “Resilience” and hopefully while experiencing the simplicity of your experiences here. There appears to be a consistent consensus of past Airbnb guests arriving here, of their own needs, to scale down their personal highly consumptive lifestyles and largely due to having experienced Micro Living within the mere 12 square feet of floor area first hand and delightfully so Come along then and if the posted Airbnb pricing seems too costly (My own payout is $150.00.) then please book anyway and negotiate with me for a reduced fee by bringing your own sheets and fire wood if that is what it takes to get you here ok? My own goal is very Selfish in a way; that by filling up often empty beds here at Tiny Cabin I easily become an agent Of Guidance towards a larger awareness of visitors whom otherwise may not be aware of what lies ahead. Search YouTube and “ Climate Crisis - Heading for Extinction” by Rafael Ubal the most definitive presentation ever! Hoping that you’ll be booking soon, Chance ,
